Neon light, not LED.
Better built than expected. Solid contacts that should easily handle 10A rating. Should last much longer than much of what is for sale.Limited space for wires. Will easily handle most common sizes of zip cord, will not easily handle wire with thicker insulation.The light is very dim, or unable to be seen, if viewed from any angle other than directly above the switch. The light is neon, with a 370 k ohm resistor, so not much wattage, maybe 0.25 W, but also not very bright.I have nothing against the switch, especially when they are selling them for $15.99 for a package of 10 ($1.60 each). There is also nothing wrong with them being neon, as long as you don’t care if the light cannot be seen, unless you stand directly above the light. These little neon bulbs do not draw much current & will outlast any LED bulb, so if you do not mind a dim indicator light, then these are not bad switches, but I cannot possibly give them 5 stars when the listing incorrectly says LED. I would give them 3 stars for misleading advertising, except the switch is more solid, better built, than I expected.
