Nice set of cable shears.
This is a good value set of cable cutters plus some shift and brake cabling and outer cable.The cutters are decent quality. Iâve used them quite a bit and they cut well without making the outer cable super unround. Nice feeling handles. Theyâve stayed sharp over like a dozen cuts.The cabling is ok quality. Maybe not the best available but for the price itâs all very useable.This is a good value setup and should be enough for most diy bike mechanics.

I paid nearly twice as much for a pair of Park cable cutters so what you get in this package is a super bargain. Granted, the cable cutter offered here is inferior to what the pros use and when cutting the housing, it crushes as it cuts, but it still does the job. With cables, it snips the metal wires cleanly and easily. The included housing come in two sized, one for the shifters and one for the brakes. There’s enough included for one bike. The cables likewise are offered in two sizes; six brake cables and six shifter cables. There are also enough cable guides, ferrules and end caps in varying quantities and more than enough for two bikes. Everything included in this package is solid and there’s little difference between these and name branded counterparts other than the aforementioned cable cutter. All in all, this is a great bargain.

Well complete kit for bike brake and gear repair
Anyone whoâs tried knows how tough it is to cut steel cables! This kit is a great option at its price point if you’re looking to repair your bike’s brakes or even the gears. It comes nearly complete with everything youâll need (except for basic tools like screwdrivers or pliers, which you likely already have at home or can adapt). A satisfying DIY project without the headaches – highly recommend!
