   It works for my Prius
   I have a 2014 Prius which can sit for a month before I am back in town. I bought this trickle charger to keep the 12V battery from going dead, like before. I bought an extension cable that runs from the solar charger which sits on the dashboard to the 12V battery in the back of the car.So far, it has kept my battery alive for the past 3 months. 4 weeks is the longest the car has sat without being driven. The car is in Southern California so it gets a fair amount of sun. The picture shows a green light that I saw when I returned, 4 weeks later.The green light means the 12V battery is fully charged. I leave the trickle charger plugged in when I drive, but I take it off the dash because it will easily fly off if the suction cups are not being used.I will have to see if it will continue to keep the battery charged up enough during the winter months when there is less sun.

   2nd one I bought!
   I got the first one to keep the battery charged on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I drive on occasion and is parked outdoors with the alarm on. It’s worked so well I bought I second one for my 2000 Cherokee since I bought a more fuel efficient daily driver. Yeah, I could pull both up to the shop and put my trickle chargers on ’em, but that’s a pain and blocks my shop doors. In over a year I’ve have had zero issues and CAR BATTERIES are expensive. With the alarms on both, the batteries are always charged and the Jeeps are ready to rock without having to drag out the big charger or expensive booster, running a cord and always worrying that I’ve compromised the existing battery.Having said as much, I just put the panel on top of eithers roof and let it do it’s thing. I do not use the suction cups and have not tried it mounted inside either vehicle.

   Bought to keep dual batteries on my truck charged while I am gone for up to a year. Unit is robust and sitting outside in the elements. It will see wind, rain, intense sun, snow and freezing temps before i get back to it….. IP60 whatever rated so it will be interesting to see what unit is like when i go back to the truck. As a test I took a very low battery and left it hooked up for 3 days. At end of time, battery was charged fully and no problems with this unit.will update when I get back.

   A lot better than I thought.
   I bought this because it was the most expensive solar charger. And the thing works like a champ.it is to easy, just put on the tractor and the battery is ready when you are.

   Good customer service
   Bought this to keep the battery on my 4 wheeler maintained. When I first hooked it up it did just a advertised. Now just over a month after having it, you check the led lights and they just sit there flashing green, which means it’s getting sunlight, but it isn’t charging anything, so I’m back to having to a low battery unless I run it everyday. Good I would have been better off to to spend the money on a better brand or but a higher end battery instead of wasting $50 on this UPDATEAfter posting this review, the company reached out within a day to make things right and gave me choice of replacement or full refund, I chose replacement and haven’t had any more issues. The replacement came within a couple days.

   Durable, easy to use solar charger
   I have a tractor and a lawn tractor that are used once a month or two. I bought an 18W charger from the same seller to maintain the batteries. I swap between the two vehicles once a week. I am so pleased with the product that I bought this 10W charger for the lawn tractor so I don’t have to swap.They sit outside full time. They are exposed to the elements. The chargers are durable, sustaining rain and hot sun. I even dropped the older charger once or twice. No damage.The video shows the connection from the 10W charger to the battery. Super easy. Just match the polarity and done.You may notice the cable to the battery has an inline fuse. The fuse is not part of this product. The fuse is not necessary for use of the charger as it has its own protection circuitry. I added the fuse to protect my water pump; I just unplug the charger and plug in the water pump. If you do not need to power accessory just use one of the cables that come with the charger.The photos of my lawn tractor show the 10W charger, with green frame. One shows a red LED while charging; the still photo cannot show the LED was blinking red. The other shows a steady green LED after battery was fully charged.The photo of the tractor is my older 18W charger with blue frame. Same setup under the hood.

   Plastic frame around the Solar panel cracked and warped severely after only 14 months
   The plastic edge of the frame around the solar panel cracked and the back of the panel bulged out due to heat, I believe the solar panel might still be working but I would not feel comfortable hooking it up and leaving it inside my car on the dash as it might start a fire inside the car. I leave my car parked at a remote parking lot at the Denver airport. I live in Texas and we use the car whenever we go to our property in the mountains of Colorado. I used the solar panel for about 14 months and it worked well to keep my battery charged. The car sat in the parking lot without use for about 5 months and the battery was still charged.I would have hoped this solar panel to last more than 14 months.

   私の車はエンジンを切っても、ドアを閉めた後も15分位、通電状態が続くので、キャンプなどで荷物の積み下ろしをしているとずーっとドラレコが録画状態になってしまい直ぐバッテリーが弱くなって困っていました。色々調べていたらこのソーラーチャージャーを見つけて『これだ！』と思い購入しました。初め取説を読まずにパネルを太陽光に当ててインジケーターランプで発電状態を確認したのにテスターでは全然発電が確認出来ず故障かと思ったが、取説を読んで思わず笑ってしまいました。その方法ではテスターで検知出来ない事が丁寧に説明されていたので^o^最初はダッシュボードに設置しようと思っていたが、フロントガラスに反射して運転しにくくなりそうだったので、IP65 waerproof を信じて思い切ってルーフキャリアの上に設置した。ここの方が太陽光を妨げられる物も無いので効率も良い！設置の仕方でちょっと見栄えが悪い所も有りますが、それは近々直す事にしました。とりあえず3時間ほどで設置完了しました。インジケーターも赤の点滅で順調に充電しています。後は今後のバッテリーの状態と耐久性を見て行きたいと思います。先ずは良い買い物をしたと思っています。追伸装着して２日目。今日は曇りで太陽光には当たって無かったけれど、それでもインジケーターは赤く点滅しています。少なからず充電してくれていると言う事ですよね！感謝。追伸2その後テスターを当ててみると、充電が1秒間隔でオンとオフを繰り返していたので、問い合わせてみるととにかく迅速かつ丁寧な対応に感謝感激❣️結果私のテスターの使い方のミスだったことも判明して、ちゃんと充電してくれています。信頼出来て絶対お勧めです！
