𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 – The Corki Cycles disc brake pads are built to improve the power of your braking and ensure a longer life than other brake pads. It is inevitable that you will need to replace your pair of brake pads, but before you do so you want plenty of use. A pair of disc brake pads need to be durable, wear-resistant, and long-lasting. At Corki Cycles we know there is a science to disc brake pads.
𝐎𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 – When choosing new or replacement disc brake pads, the sizing/compatibility and material are most important. The brake pad material affects the use, wear, and life of the brake pads. At Corki Cycles we offer 4 different materials to match the different styles of riding.
𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 – Choose a resin/organic pad for casual riding, a semi-metallic pair of disc brake pads for more frequent use, and multi-metallic/sintered or copper brake pads for more aggressive riding. Multi-metallic/sintered or copper disc brake pads are perfect for more aggressive riding like downhill.
𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄 – When you’re driving your car you want responsive and quick-reacting brakes. The same applies to your bicycle. The Corki Cycles disc brake pads are the perfect thickness for greater longevity and wear resistance. Yet for those needing split reaction breaking and greater responsiveness on the trails our disc brake pads perform every time.
𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 – Before ordering check your current brake pads for compatibility, or check online to match the brand and make with the correct pads before buying. The Corki Cycles disc brake pad pair is compatible with: TRP Tektro, Shimano Deore Br-M575, M525, M515, T615, T675, M505, M495, M486, M485, M475, M465, M447, M446, M445, M416, M415, M395, M375, M315, M355, C601, and C501.
𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 – To install firstly remove your front and rear wheel. Remove the old, worn brake pads from the front and rear calipers. Check your pistons and do an overall caliper health check first. Check the quality of the brake cable or hydraulic hose before installing the new disc brake pads. Using a flat tool push the pistons back ready to install the new pads.
𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 -Insert the new brake pads correctly and secure them inside the caliper with the spring and pin. Re-attach your wheel and check the disc rotor positioning. Make sure there is no friction with the new brake pads when the brakes are not in use. If there is some friction or the disc rotor is hard to move you may need to file the pads very slightly. Alternatively, you can wait after a few rides for this to wear down.

Great quality, performance, and value! Plus Corki are great to deal with!
Updated 3/30/2023 for Sintered Metal versionThe new compound is fantastic! There were minor things on the Copper-Based that were easy to live with for the performance. First, the brake material was thinner and backing plate was thicker than OEM. Overall they were under 4mm total. You got less mileage. Also, the Copper-Based did take their toll on rotors. My rear stock TR-24 (180-24) rotor lasted just over 2,000 miles before it was approaching the 1.5mm replacement point (1.55mm at thinnest point). The Sintered Metal have more braking material, a backing plate closer to OEM, and an overall thickness just the tiniest bit over 4mm. Significantly more mileage (over 900 versus 500-600) with all the things we loved about the Copper-Based. The edges do seem a little more brittle, so go easy on wheel changes! Still, I have to say the Sintered Metal are my choice now for this pad form factor.Full disclosure: I was provided a set (4 pads) of Sintered by Corki when I inquired about the compound change. I have since purchased a set (4 pads) as well.Original review of Copper-Based:Purchased the Copper-Based pads to replace A10.11 OEM pads for hyraulic Tektro HD-E 350s on an Ariel Rider Kepler ebike. I had used 0.2mm of the original pads and had enough of their turkey gobbler call when heated up.These Corki Copper-Based pads perform superbly. No more fade and odd sounds by heat buildup. They bring my 26″ x 4″ wheels, on 90lbs of bike with super grippy slicks, and 225lbs of me, to a quick, controlled stop from 32mph.Whisper quiet stopping with no fade. Do not wait to replace cheap OEM pads. Put these in now!

My brakes broke but these brakes work!
The 2 Pairs Brake Pads for TRP, Tektro, and Shimano disc brakes exceeded my expectations. Installation was straightforward, and the fit was perfect. These pads are highly effective, providing excellent stopping power. While they do produce some noise, it’s just the sound of friction and is much quieter compared to my previous pads. These brake pads deliver the performance you expect from disc brakes. I’m planning to install the second pair on the rear soon. Although I can’t comment on their long-term durability yet, I’m very pleased with their performance so far.

Good pads
I installed these on my Dualtron Victor electric scooter which uses the HB-875 full hydraulic Zoom brakes. The pads barely fit in the caliper width wise. I had to grind off some the ends of the backing material because it measures 30.77mm and the Zoom brakes only have a clearance of 29mm. Its possible I have the wrong brake pad size but after some grinding they do work. My Dualtron can reach speeds of 45mph and these pads do a reasonably good job of stopping me completely within 15 ft. It could probably stop me sooner but I don’t want to flat spot my tires and be thrown from the scooter via momentum.I have found that in the rain the effectiveness is greatly reduced, to a terrifying degree. It is possible that given my scooter uses 10in tall tires (6in rims) with 140mm rotors, the proximity to the ground plays a part in this. For the TLDRPros.good for the moneylong lasting even under sustained abusenot that loud (90% of the time)fits Zoom HB-875 brakes with modificationConsnot good in raintoo thick for HB-875 brakes to avoid rotor rubbingrequires modification to fit on HB-875 brakes

Priority Current – goodbye squeaks!
Installed this in about 20 minutes on my Priority Current eBike. Original pads were worn but not gone. These pads are so much better with regard to stopping power and so much quieter. I had to remove my bag rack to access the cotter pin, but other than that – this was very smooth installation.Pro-tip: clean your disk rotors & calipers with isopropyl prior to installation to reduce/remove squeaks. These pads will be very quiet if everything else is clean.

Easy to install and worth the money.
First place I used these brakes was South Carolina in 80 degree weather with no squeals after traveling 800 miles this made me very happy. Rode in 94 degree heat in CNY where I live no problems.

Squeaky and loud
I tried the multi-metallic, semi-metallic and resin based brakes. They brake as advertised and worked well enough on my Aventon Aventure 2 bike despite it weighing 70lbs. However, they were all super squeaky. I thought they would break in after a while and quite down. I cleaned the brake disc multi times with no effect. I used them for several hundred miles of commuting. I tried each brake type thinking it get rid of the squeaking. Nothing worked, they are just too loud and annoying. I finally tried a completely different brand (multi-metallic by Inkesky) and it was a night and day difference.

Wow…!
My original brake pads were evidently resin pads and, over time became less and less effective. The front brake started sounding like a turkey gobble. I took it apart and cleaned the rotor and pads and the scuffed the pads with sandpaper. Then took it for a ride and bedded the pads. Initially, it seemed like the problem was solved but a few weeks later the turkey gobble was back. I ordered these Corki pads in semi metallic and put them only on the front. Then took it for a ride and bedded them in. Wow! What a difference! These pads are super effective. Yes, they make some noise but only the sound of friction, quiet compared to what I had before. These are what disc brakes should feel like. I will put the second pair on the rear soon. I can’t speak for durability but I am very pleased with these pads.

The fit my bike with room for the rotor and lock up my tires. That’s all I need. This isn’t a longevity review, I’ve only had them installed a couple weeks.

Fit perfectly on Tektro disc-brakes, but compared to the factory Tektro pads, there was significantly less stopping power / grip than the factory pads. When i removed the factory pads after about 2,500km / 100 rides, these replacement pads had about the same amount of material (thickness) as the factory pads. Maybe that is typical for replacement pads, i do not know, but certainly reduced quality compared to original equipment.

For the price and performance, get them! I don regret them. Gave them some abuse and they like it ð
