   2 years old and going strong this is the solar panel you want
   Waited two years to write this review so here goes, My solar panel is installed on the back of my pontoon screwed to the railing, its charging 3 deep cycle batteries that run the pontoon and 1000watt stereo system on it I have yet to run the batteries dead on the lake with the radio and everything running hard for more than 12 hours straight the panel has been exposed to all elements rain and snow, It keeps my batteries charged year round I was amazed how well it works and easy to install it was definitely worth the money I spent on it to have my batteries well maintained and ready to rock when we roll out on my party barge

   Works great, seem like it charges fast
   Installed on my cabin cruiser, seems to maintain batteries with the electronics running, charges pretty fast, was easy to install and seems really well built and looks good

   It will probably keep a battery topped off
   Seems like a good idea. I think it works well if there isn’t a load on your battery and it just needs topping off. I tried using this in an RV setting. When the battery was fully charged it did well. However, if cell phone chargers dropped the voltage to at or below 9 volts it quit working. It would just flash like it wasn’t getting good sun.However, start up the vehicle and all of sudden without moving it then it said the sun was good and it was working.I tried putting on the dash and inside the vehicle. It warped in about a week. Not sure why, other plastic things on the dash right next to it didn’t have this problem.I tried placing on the roof of the vehicle with the generous cord size. Strangely, it didn’t improve performance. If the battery is fully charged then it on green steady and shows working. But if your battery drops low which is when you need it the most, it quits working and just blinks green.It probably very useful in other applications.———-Edit support reached out to me and replaced the unit and helped me understand how to use it. It will keep a battery topped off. It isn’t designed to keep up with a 3.2 amp charger. Works as intended.

   Good waterproof panel
   I’m using this panel with a DC electric fence energizer to keep the deep cycle marine battery that runs it charged. It’s out in the elements and so far, is operating well. Considering the panel output and the current draw from the energizer, I might have to add another since it only charges when the sun is up, and the energizer draws current 24/7. I cut off the SAE plug and wired on ring terminals directly to simplify the connection to the battery.

   IT WORKS to keep my Ford Transit 2020 RV chassis from dying due long storage periods
   MY Ford Transit battery is always connected to parasitic loads cause I can communicate with my Transit via Ford Pass App, as such it draws power. After about two weeks the App notifies me that my battery was put in Deep Sleep mode to prevent excess drain. I normally will drive 36 miles one way to the storage lot and check on the health of my battery. I have a Firefly control system in my RV that monitors my chassis and house batteries and I have seen in a 2 week storage period my voltage on my Transit battery go as low as 11.8 volts. I needed to find a better way to top off my battery while in winter storage. My House batteries are Lithium and they are maintained via my roof mounted solar panels and those are no problem. Last winter I paid $120 more per moth to park my RV in a space that had electricity and I would trickle charge my Transit battery via a Noco charger. So I moved to a cheaper parking spot with frontal solar exposure so I could save on my rental fee BUT that meant I needed to address my Transit battery drains. This is where the 20 watt solar tender came in handy. I tested it at first mounted to the outside of my windsheild and within 48 hours moved that one panel inside the windsheild due to HIGH WINDS and fear of the suction cups breaking loose and causing damage. So here is what I posed to my facebook group on the results of testing from Dec 20 th for the first installed panel. I have been testing since Dec 20 th when I had a fully charged Transit battery. I rechecked on Dec 23 th and moved my panel to the inside of the windshield. I rechecked on Dec 28 th and it was holding a 12.6 volts on my Firefly panel. So today I rechecked and still holding 12.6 volts and decided to add a second panel in parallel to my charging current (I wanted two panels for our cars this summer when gone for 6 weeks) I will see if I get more bang for the buck with two panels or if one will do. Stay tuned. VERY happy that I can now comfortably visit the RV once a month and not bi monthly. This ends my woes of DEEP SLEEP MODE. Here is a link to the panel I bought and the splitter required to wire two in parallel. Keep in mind I did move my RV to a spot that gave me better windshield solar exposure. So I plan to go back out to my RV and check the battery status with a second panel installed in parallel as you know from my posting that with LOW LIGHT and Cloudy days my yield from my panels will drop off so I will soon see if that second panel helps to keep my voltage at or above 12.6 volts. I am really excited to have found this solar battery tender solution. Please know that if you live in Florida or a very sunny area during the winter you most likely only need one panel to do the job. I wanted two cause I will use these panels on each of our parked cars when we travel for over a month at a time. Stay tuned for my 2 panel results. Review Written by Smiley husband of Karen E.

   Will work form the inside of a car
   This is my second solar panel battery maintainer that I have bought from this company. I was happy with the first one and this one is even better.There are two great things with this new panel.One, on the collector panel itself, there is a little light that indicates when the panel is receiving and generating solar electricity or not working properly… Super handy.Two, this panel has a great advantage in that I can be put up to a window, and it will generate electricity. It does not need to be mounted outside the car. The big benefit is that it is inside the car and when I lock the car the panel is safe and secure. Anyone that uses the panel can just put it on the dash or in the rear window. I put my panel in a tinted window that faces south and even though the window is coated with a sunscreen It still produces enough electricity to maintain the battery.I have included a picture taken from the outside of the car showing the panel through the tinted window which is coated with solar film. The panel is on the inside of the car where it is collecting sun and working great.Thanks for the great product. I am very happy.
