Got this for my mother who curls her hair every day at 78. The old iron would not shut off anymore unless she unplugged it. This one has several settings and also an auto shut off. The first time she used it she was really impressed with how it performed. She did not know how she felt about a ceramic wand when she got it. Now says will never use anything but.

dual voltage curling iron
This was the only dual voltage in this size barrel, 3/4 inch. I used it in Europe and it works with just an adapter. I didn’t need a transformer with it. So glad because this is the only dual voltage curling iron that I could find that is smaller than a 1 inch barrel. I don’t like the bigger barrels for my type of hair. Thankful for this product and the company that had the foresight to notice a lack of availability for this.

Stopped working after using twice
I purchased two months ago and had used it twice in the first month. When I plugged it in to use it again a couple of weeks later, the display lights turned on but it would not turn on and heat up. I have tried a couple other times and get the same result. Very disappointing that it quit working after such a short period of time but too late to return it.

Works well but some things could be improved
The curling iron works well, heats up quickly but could use a few design changes. I HIGHLY recommend wearing the glove sent with the iron as the barrel gets extremely hot and part of the handle you push to open the clip is metal and also gets very hot. I have burned my fingers many times while trying to use it. I would also like to see the end of the barrel – the swivel to hold as you turn the curling iron be longer to hold be longer. It is hard to grip as you turn the iron. I am keeping it since it works well enough for me but would like to see these design changes.

Works great, but…
I love that I’m able to fine tune the temperature with this curling iron. The curling iron is lightweight and easy to use. It does a great job on my hair. Very pleased. However, the cord gets twisted and tangled after 2 or 3 days of use. All my other curling irons haven’t had this issue because the cord swivels where it is connected to the curling iron. I’m hoping that this constant twisting and untwisting doesn’t break the copper wire and shorten the curling iron’s life span.

Upon delivery, check out this product to ensure the clip is totally flush against the rod.
Initially, I really liked this curling iron. My disappointment is that for whatever reason, the clip is no longer totally flush against the rod. No tough handling that would have created this issue. Maybe this is how I received it, but it did not occur to me to check out this feature. I just assumed it was all good. This creates difficulty in securing my hair to curl. I have pictures if needed.Other than this concern, I like this product and would be willing to give it a chance by purchasing another in the future.A week later…This morning, 4.8.20, while curling my hair. A screw fell out of the wand and the clip is now totally sideways. I have to believe this was a defective product and not representative of the total line of products.I purchased this in January. About three months later it is totally broken.I have pictures to support my concerns, but cannot find a way to post them.My question is, what do we do about this? Can I get some response and assistance to address this defective product?
