took me 5 minutes by myself to set it up. about the same to take it down. was a little more complicated getting it back in the bag but … that was expected, but it did go back in. thankfull no more poles to keep up with and put together as I cannot count how many of those I have broke. this tent is quick, easy and spacious. cant wait to take it camping.

OK, don’t let the 4 star rating scare you. I just set this tent up this morning; a “shakedown cruise” as it were. I have yet to take it camping, so I will not give a higher rating until I’ve tested it. Having said that, the setup was very easy, just like you see on the You Tube videos. My neighbors were impressed with the ease that it set up. I’m 74 y/o and no Lewis and Clark so my first setup time was maybe 2 1/2 minutes but I know with a few practice drills I can get it down to 60-90 seconds. My first impression was the roominess; I camp alone and I like my space but in my opinion 2-3 people in this tent will not be tight,. I’m 5’9″ and the height here is 5’7″…I’m fine with that. I know you can purchase tents that are much less, but then, I don’t like tents you have to scrunch yourself in…42″-48″ in height. No thanks; when the weather turns bad and you’re in a tent that small, tempers get short. There is lots of ventilation, the windows are big , there is a hook on the top for a small light, pockets for small things that tend to get lost and a pocket to extend a cord out for charging those 21st century gadgets we love. The tent looks very durable and sturdy and that will be tested out in two weeks as I will be using it on my Michigan trip. I’m certain the ratings will go up, so don’t be afraid to check this number out. I purchased a canopy to go with my tent. This allows for extra stretching room and it looks like I did the right thing. Of course, you will be the final judge but I would recommend this tent for your family or couples weekend excursions. Seller Stands By Their Product – Will Replace If There’s a Defect
Update:After posting the review, the sellers reached out to me to offer a replacement. They said they didn’t receive the original message that I sent via amazon (that might be an amazon issue, i have no reason to think otherwise). I have just received their replacement – and set it up as soon as I get it. Everything worked as expected. It seems the previous unit was defective for whatever reason – but the sellers do stand by their product – and will fix/resolve if there’s an issue. I’ve updated the review to 5 stars. Honestly, I wish there was a 4.5 rating (as ideally there wouldn’t be a defective one) – but I guess nothing can be perfect and someone does have to end up with the dud. The one thing I’d say from the original review that still holds – please check everything in working order prior to going anywhere. Or better yet – as soon as you receive it.Original Title:One of the Tent Poles Didn’t Click/Lock into PlaceOriginal review below:I made the mistake of taking my time and not opening/trying it out until I needed it. Many months later, on my first use (when I actually needed it), one of the extendable tent poles didn’t click/lock into place. As such, one corner was loose/unusable since it was much shorter on that side. It’s past the refund period and I tried reaching out to the seller, didn’t get a response.Lesson: try it out as soon as you get it to make sure it works. If it weren’t for that one thing, I’d probably be quite happy with this tent – I hope it was just my unit that was defective.

Love this tent
Havenât been camping in years but recently went and needed a tent. Iâm 68 yr old female and was able to put it up myself in less than 15 mins. It got my full size air mattress in while leaving lots of extra floor space. Loved all the windows and large doorway. Only negative would be trying to get it back into the bag so I just folded it up and tied it closed.

The floor material could be more sturdy. I set this up on some rocks and they appeared to want to poke through right away. Really loved how tall it was in the center. I didn’t have a lot of problems with the zipper like I did with other tents. It fit a small toilet and two 18 inch tall inflatable mattresses. Probably not enough space to put luggage and food in after that. Kept those in another pup tent. I wouldn’t have been able to put it up and take it down by myself at 5’2 but not sure a taller person could either. Like the windows on all three remaining sides. Would buy again.
