   Lots of power, need to be careful using!
   With great power comes great responsibility – and that’s the case with this cupping massager. It’s got really strong suction and power which is a good thing. However, if you’re not careful with it, you could definitely hurt yourself. Further, it’s quite simple to put this on yourself because of that suction – it’s a bit harder to get it OFF of you if you happen to be by yourself! So if you are by yourself, ensure that you’re able to reach to release the suction from wherever you’re planning on placing it.

   Make sure you know which button is the release button as you get to know this healing tool. I love the ease of use and power. Great if you love cupping!

   Mixed results
   This massager gave me mixed feelings. Sometimes it was great at pain relief. Sometimes it caused more pain than relief. It’s battery is great. It’s functional and easy to use. And stays on pretty well. However sometimes my shoulder area ends up feeling more sore. Maybe I’m doing it for too long

   powerful suction action, but somewhat confusing controls
   This thing really sucks! – but it a good way. It really does pull your skin into the device. It’s kind of fascinating to watch, actually. I have two complaints, one more serious than the other. First, I really don’t know how to use this thing well or even precisely what it’s supposed to do. If you already know what cupping is, great! This will probably work very well for you. I ordered it without much knowledge, and there is no overview of how to use it effectively. There are directions, but strictly for how to operate the device. And that leads to the more serious complaint: the directions are readable, but I never could figure out how to get it to operate in “breathe” mode (that is, where it applies suction and then automatically releases). Every time I activated it, I had to use the manual release to get it to stop.Which leads to a warning: this thing really does suck hard; once it is activated, you can’t pull it off of you without using the manual release!It’s an interesting device. If you know what you’re doing, I think it will be great.

   Portable Pain relief
   I am new to cupping. I have RA and am willing to try anything to ease the pain that comes along with it. This portable electric cupping device is great for people who are new to cupping. It has good instructions and you can take it along with you. Works as it should and has different options to choose from.

   Fascinating Device
   This is really a fascinating little device for those interested in experimenting with DIY cupping therapy. I am somewhat skeptical of cupping, but admit that a close family member had a very positive experience receiving this therapy for a shoulder injury. I happen to have my own shoulder issue, so I thought I’d give this a try. The device itself is high quality and has a nice solid feel. The controls are quite good, allowing you to select from 12 levels of suction and heat. I used the lowest suction level, which is quite strong and still sufficient to leave a bruise. The radiant heating feature is a bonus. Other than simple operating manual, there are no instructions on how to properly perform cupping therapy…….you are on your own to research this. I did use this on my shoulder right at the site of my rotator cuff problems, and I do think it provided some temporary relief. I look forward to experimenting more with this device.

   Hi, Friend!
   I wasn’t sure about this at first, and my husband did laugh at me (and express concerns for my well-being), but this Hi_friend Smart Cupping Massager is now one of my favorite things. I was a total skeptic as to cupping, but this massager somehow made the right side of my body feel much better than it has in decades, so I looked into cupping in more detail and – must stop before venturing into medical advice – there is some logic as to why cupping might actually work.The instructions are full of laughs, in the style of a 1999 internet meme. The list of people who should not use the massager is incredibly comprehensive, which I must admire from a legal perspective. Per the instruction manual, I myself am precluded from using the massager due to #10: “Excessive fatigue, drunkenness and staying up too late (2 hours before and after meals are also prohibited).” I use it anyway.Some words of caution: Use this only on top of strong muscles, like the back and outer hips. It is very strong! Do not use it anywhere where it might mess up your veins, etc., or – and this is a definite possibility – pop your eye right out of the socket. So, seriously keep this away from kids. It could be very dangerous in the wrong hands. This massager is NOT messing around. It is powerful.There is one design flaw. The “kill switch” is indistinguishable in feel from the button that increases suction. Almost every time that I use this massager, I end up crying uncle after a bit and attempting to take it off to decrease suction, but instead I end up hitting the button that increases suction at least once! The kill switch should have been styled as a big button right in the center of the top of the massager to make it easier to self rescue when the suction becomes too much.But, despite all of that, this massager is one of my favorite things.
