Finally! This is what I’ve been looking for.
I’ve been contemplating looking into getting my hands on some nice, easy (small!) plug-sized light duty extension cords, but either I wrap my project or just use something else figuring that I’ll swap it when I can get around to it. Well, this baby is here to make my life better.The cord is MUCH more beefy than I was expecting, and I don’t mean that in a ‘construction site’ extension cord. It’s meatier than the 3-outlet units that are scattered all over my house – but are in places where they’re not necessary because I only need ONE! I don’t want a big brick at the end – I just need the female end to help extend my reach to the outlet on the wall.I ran my wife’s hair dryer through this baby and it worked like a champ, but I better warn you that this is not meant for appliances! IF you NEED to use something for an appliance or other heavy-duty drawing device, spend the money and get one MADE for appliances. Heck, the manufacturers don’t even recommend extension cables, but they make ’em and sell ’em, and they’re UL tested for those needs.So consider this as a light-to-medium duty cord, and maybe get an extra one or two – just in case. 😉

Repurposing made it fit for purpose
This is the SECOND AC 2-prong charging cable I had ordered to charge my electric toothbrush, but neither one fits the 2-plug hole on the electric toothbrush.However, both chargers fit my (older model) electric shaver AND replaces the (older) charging cable with a MUCH faster, better, more secure, and SAFER charging cable than I had been using.The reason I purchased this item HAD BEEN that the company that had sold me the electric toothbrush and electric water flosser insisted that (a) the product is no longer being carried (b) and they don’t want to look for the replacement part that I needed to charge the items. Well, so much for that.But I did get a good product for a different purpose, but surely it is NOT what I needed for charging the electric items (sold by another distribution platform).For the price, it is a VERY good item; however, unless potential customers can really MATCH the components, be very careful. The length of the cord is both (a) adequate and (b) not TOO long or cumberson. It seems VERY durable and likely to last a VERY LONG TIME.
