sturdy, dependable extension

This is a great option when you are trying to make a cord work and just need a little more length vs. a full fledge extension cord. I am pleased and I would recommend.

Properly sized extensions are important
This is a nicely sized bit of extension, good for getting you a little further from your electrical outlet. The 12/3 rating means that it’s the same gauge wire that is likely in your walls and that’s important for any large appliances that you might need the extension for as using the wrong gauge wire can severely impact your appliance’s efficiency, break it, or even worse. For example, you might have a small window AC that needs just a bit more cord to get to the outlet, you’ll want something like this to get you there. In the second picture I have it laid out next to a cheap, light gauge extension that would be better for a lamp or something of similarly low voltage.

Perfect fit for a specific purpose
I acquired this short extension cord for a specific purpose, to go from an outlet to the ground with a little extra to get away from the wall. I had been using much longer heavy duty extension cords coiled up on the ground and it seemed like a waste and also the excess cord was unsightly.This is a weatherproof heavy duty cord, thick but flexible. UL certified for quality and safety is a bonus.If you need to span a short distance with a high power draw, this will certainly work.
