Warm and comfortable
Warm, cushiony comfort. Run a little small. Worn for 30 days, liner nap has not packed or compressed. Strong seams, great quality!

Good fit
I purchased these to replace the Old Friend Men’s Romeo I bought last year and which I was never completely happy with because they were too big (size 9)and which I was too lazy to return.I wear a size 8.5 shoe. These are a better fit (size 8) and I like the inner-sole cushioning and outer-sole better (light and flexible, giving a more moccasin-like feel) than the Old Friends. The only drawback I’ve noticed it that the elastic on the inside edge of the arch is noticeably rough against my skin and which otherwise interferes with the extreme comfort the rest of the interior provides. The elastic itself is bound in suede and the seam it creates is just too thick. This type of complaint wasn’t possible with the Old Friends due to the difference in construction which placed these seams sandwiched between layers of suede in the tongue.

Buy one-size larger than your shoe size. Recommended.
I wear a 13-EEE in a shoe, but I bought these knowing that the âDâ width would be narrow for me, but I figured that they would stretch out over time. Itâs been about 3 months now, and the width seems fine; they have âmoldedâ to fit my feet. The same cannot be said of the length. The size 13 I bought was tighter than I thought it would be. If they were shoes, I would have returned them, but as slippers that will be worn just a couple of hours/day (at most), I kept them. I would have to say that these run a bit small and should be purchased one-size larger than your usual show size. The sheepskin lining is great. Smooth and comfortable from the start, the thick lining quickly conformed to the shape of my foot. As advertised, your bare feet will not get sweaty in thises slippers, and for that Iâm grateful. The soles are thick enough to be worm outdoors (to get the mail, paper, etc.) without feeling the pebbles of our gravel driveway. I have worn them, as well, while driving; very comfortable.Although they are made in China (hard, these days, to find something that is not) they are well constructed and feel like they will last a number of years. I look forward to slipping into these each day when I come home from work, and I wear them around the house on my days off. All-in-all, Iâm very happy.

I won’t buy anything else.
I first bought a pair of these about 10 years ago and whenever they wear out I search for a new identical pair. They’re so good. Comfy and warm and a great fit.

and I love them. I bought the first pair about five …
This is my second pair, and I love them. I bought the first pair about five to six years ago, and although they got pretty beat up on the outside from wearing them outdoors more than I care to admit they still felt comfortable and warm up to the day I replaced them. They are super soft and extremely comfortable. They do start off snug then as the interior starts to compress they loosen a little bit, but even after all these years they never felt like they were going to fall off. Definitely not meant to be warm much outside (if at all), but I prefer warmth and comfort. Not sure if they are washable, as I only thought of that now as I am writing the review.

Buy these, if you prefer expensive, inferior craftsmanship.
If you don’t buying more than one pair a year, than by all means purchase these slippers. I live in Texas where the winters are not very long. The stitching separated within a couple of months on one shoe, and the shoes barely show signs of wear. The manufacturers policy states you have to pay to send the slippers in, then pay them to ship you another pair after they determine their sandals are defective. I politely sent them an email containing pictures of my defective slippers to prove they have not been abused, and a copy of my sales receipt within the warranty period. Their reply just reiterated their warranty policy. That is lousy customer service in my opinion. I previously had some Acorn slippers that lasted for years, these didn’t even last one winter. Yes, they are still usable, however my point is the slippers are obviously defective. I am not going to spend more money to get a replacement for a product that is inferior. I will not buy Acorn products again.

ACORN isn’t a nutty buy!
WOW……these have to be the most comfortable and warmest slippers, ever! They also don’t let your feet sweat, or if they do, it’s quickly dried away with such an excellent lamb’s wool-like lining. The uppers are super soft, bend without any tension on the top of the foot so wearing a cotton sock isn’t necessary. The non-skid sole is very well designed and appears to be attached to stay that way for a long time; a well built, high quality, good looking slipper that in all ways is worth far more than the cost. You could easily pay five times the amount for another slipper and not get half what you will with this one. It’s not my first pair, a repeat purchase, but for my Father who is very, very picky….he loves them. He’s 86 years old and finds them to be highly comfortable, supportive and as well easy to walk in as they do not both skid nor snag on any surface. Excellent product for older people.

I have no dislikes except I feel the sale price is more in keeping with the product itself. The everyday pricing is high for an everyday product. I am in slippers at all times at home and over my many years I have found these slippers to be the best that I have worn. There was another brand I had about 30 yrs ago that was really good also. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the product name. If I recall correctly they may have discontinued the slipper line.

I bought these to replace my husbandâs pair that our dog lovingly chewed. They were the same as what he had before. He likes the comfort, warmth and durability of these slippers.

These were a present for my dad. He usually wears a size 10.5, so I ordered him an 11. They were so big on him he did not think they would stay on. Quality was great.
