These were fantastic. Lightweight, sturdy, cuts heavy and thick paracord easily and thatâs a hard thing to manage. I have tried thicker material and denim and had no problems. I ordered another pair to have just in case. Wish Iâd bought a pair in cute colors but these are fine. Tested on 550, 425, 375, 225, and 95 paracord. Very easy with no resistance or fraying.

One word: Workhorse. Light, easy to carry, every-day essential
Excellent, cuts through any and everything (they cut cotton-canvas restraints like paper). I prefer this size over the larger 7in shears: it doesn’t jab me when I’m wearing them. I rarely miss the other style shear with the angles tip: the bent tip can help with getting under bandages, but these have a soft tip-guard the keeps them from stabbing me and ruining my pockets; and I didn’t utilize the bandage feature very often. I can’t see any benefit in carrying larger size shears, these are a perfect fit for me in the ICU. By the way- cheapest all-purpose garage scissors you can find! My “garage” shears have cut everything, even pennies and aluminum cans- just because they can.
