Nice Quality, not quite “pocket” though
Freshly off my CPR re-certification, I was on the hunt for a nice barrier mask in case I have to put my training to the test. The kit comes in the orange clam-shell pictured. I was pleased that the plastic of the container was sturdy enough to endure abuse in my bag with other gear and has the added benefit of closing with a latch – this was very important to me as the last kit I had didn’t have this and kept popping open, no such worries with this kit.Inside the kit comes the folded mask as expected with the one way valve attached. The instructions state the valve and filter are replaceable if you are buying the kit for mannequin training – but I didn’t see any easy way to get at the filter for replacement although I didn’t try to hard to remove it as that is not my intended purpose (and I DEFINITELY want that attached if I ever have to give CPR!!!). The kit also includes a pair of latex gloves and an alcohol wipe which were a nice bonus ( “large” size though, so if you have big hands like me, be sure to swap them out with your own pair.) The whole kit fits snug, so no room for anything else. Also has instructions for use silkscreened on the case – which is a nice bonus if you need a quick reference.Cons – unless you have some large cargo pants – no way this thing is “pocket”. I knew this was going to be a large case (no larger than any others I have seen) but don’t have any delusions you will be carting this thing around in anything but a bag.All in all – a good quality kit of which I have bought several to have on hand in various places. An absolute must for those trained in CPR or rescue breathing.

Seems to be high quality
First impressions are fantastic. I just received this today and was very happy with the quality of everything. The case was especially a surprise; mine arrived in perfect condition and the case was much nicer than I expected. As others have mentioned, “pocket sized” is a bit of a stretch. Yes, I could actually fit it in the front pocket of my shorts, but it would have been a huge stretch (literally) to fit them in jeans pockets. I can’t imagine a scenario where someone is going to be keeping this on their person, but if so, I’d question whether or not there were better products for that application. To keep in a reasonably small first aid kit in the car or backpacking equipment, this is exactly what I had in mind and is everything I expected it to be, and more.Just like everything in my first aid kid, I hope to never have to use it, but it’s confidence inspiring to have it on-hand and I’ll be very glad to have it should the need arise.

Cheap and Portable
I purchased this CPR mask as I wanted something small, portable and inexpensive I could carry around daily. This has fit the bill perfectly. I especially appreciate the hard case that was included as my mask spends a lot of time getting knocked around in my daily carry bag. Hopefully I won’t have to see how effective this mask is. I’ve recently become a CPR/AED instructor at work and will be using this mask to demonstrate just how affordable and easy it is to carry around a CPR mask.

ADC Pocket Rescusitator
I bought this product for my EMT classes and found it to be a very good tool to have. If you are a first responder or even just someone who knows how to perform cpr, this is a great tool to have. For the price you can’t go wrong and with in the ADC kit it has everything you need. It comes with a nice orange case to easily find in a bag, mask w/ valve filter, gloves, and sanitary wipe. The mask is well made and has all necessary components like a oxygen port, head strap for use as a non-re-breather mask, and the valve fits most bag valve mask systems in use today. Valve/filter piece is removable and replaceable. There are simple drawing instructions on the bottom of the case. I have been using this mask for quite some time for practical skills practice and seems to be holding up well.

Fantastic!
So let me start off by saying this is one of the better pocket masks I have had. Usually the plastic that comes into contact with the face is hard, and not really pliable, this is tough enough to not crack, but pliable enough to create a decent seal. Included is a pair of gloves and an alcohol wipe. I keep one in my STOMP II bag, hiking bag, EDC bag, and Jeep. They are cheap enough that you can have several laying around, and in an emergency, will be nice. I tried sucking air back through the valve, and nada. No air, so the one-way seal works good. Shipping was quick, and the price is great. Bottom line, buy a few!

A great deal.
I bought this for my wife after she had completed her first aid training, because she had asked me about them. I looked online for the Laerdal’s and found them to be prohibitively expensive. Then I found this. It’s just what I was looking for. I simple pocket mask, in a hardshell container, that clasps shut, includes a sealed pair of gloves and a wipe packet (and instructions too, but…. right?). It comes with a supplemental oxygen inlet nozzle, a replaceable one-way filtered breath valve, an adjustable face strap and it all folds down neatly. AND at the price we got it, less than $10, it was a real deal! For a lightweight, purse-carried, emergency product meant to be simple, effective, versatile, easy to use and disposable, I really can’t think of a better product on the market. Not just in it’s class, but in it’s field. Go ADC.
