   EXACTLY what was needed.
   We have a young grandson who loves to use a flashlight to search for things. Most small flashlights are now LED, which emit a very intense light with a slight bluish cast. Very hard on the eyes when a little one inadvertently shines it in your (or his) eyes. When those key-chain LED lights first came out, a number of women bought them as part of a self-defense strategy to blind potential attackers long enough to break and run. This is a warm, low-intensity traditional bulb. It even comes with the battery.

   Great product
   I am in nursing school and I use this product a lot. I have never had any problems with it and the light is still going strong. This product is very comfortable to hold and fits comfortably in your pocket while not in use. I would definately recommend this product. The pricing is very reasonable as well.

   Bulbs are defective .
   This light has a nice feel and the switch has a good solid action. The barrel is thin gauge aluminum with the threads pressed into the body. Very satisfactory for the price. Had a good brightness when new.After using it about a week the strangest thing happened. Pointing the light straight down the beam comes out at about a 30 degree angle. Very much offset. Looks really bizarre. I think the bulb is a multi-element and 2 are burnt out. I have a bulb that might fit but getting the other one out doesn’t look promising without ruining the spring.I didn’t drop it or get it wet etc… but it did fail. Looks like a decent quality bulb too. Still works (great for seeing around corners lol.) but the brightness is about a 1/3 or less. Odd. Maybe just a lemon bulb. Still works good enough to get by at work where I use it.No bulb failure and it would be a 5 star review. It’s a wash-neutral rating.**Update: So like an idgit I bought another one. After a max of 5 min on time the bulb burned out the same way again. Reduced to one star. To prove bulb failure I dug out a bad bulb (not so easy) replaced with a bulb from a worn out 10 yr old light- presto works fine. There is a reason it’s 3.99 prime delivered. Bad bulbs. I had no paint issues until disassembly for bulb.

   awesomeness!
   Bought this for my EMT class. Works great and does not blind the person I am working on. It comes with 2 batteries, of which may die if you leave the flashlight on…for too long, lol. Don’t do that! I highly recommend this pen light.

   Quality is less than expected
   This light is bright but the light inside is off center and the cap fell off easy and it turns on easy while on a belt with out you noticing so the battery runs down. Should be designed better.

   Works, but could be brighter.
   Good penlight. Easy to use. The brightness is a bit low for patient assessment purposes, but that could be an issue with the included batteries. My non-medical LED penlight has the opposite problem, so maybe someday I’ll find one that’s “just right.” I’m happy with the value for money.

   Just what the nursing student ordered! I love that it uses AAA batteries so I can replace them easily if needed!

   Ideal for any purpose!!
   I bought this light to put in the first aid kit for checking pupil dilation when our 8 month old pumps his head. It also works great for when you need a small convenient light for getting into small places.
