   I’m nearly 50 years old and my preferred makeup style is simple; moisturizing primer, a basic foundation, fill the eyebrows a touch, a tinted lip balm, and maybe some blush if I feel pale. I’ve tried most big brands of foundations, from drugstore brands up to the most expensive department store items, but never really found an ideal match in a comfortable foundation until trying this product. I have cool-toned, fair combination skin and most foundations look and feel too thick, settling into pores and creases. My skin is also pretty sensitive, so I avoid anything with scents or heavy consistencies because they can cause rashes and breakouts.This foundation is almost white out of the tube but after application and light blending, it matches my skin perfectly and evens my skin tone very well. It feels light and not at all sticky or heavy. I can’t feel it any more than my moisturizer. While I wouldn’t consider it to be moisturizing on its own, it’s not drying at all. The big test for me today was a visit to the dentist. After X-rays and cleaning, the foundation hadn’t rubbed off or gathered in spots, as I’ve come to expect from almost every brand. My skin still appeared soft and healthy with consistent coloration and texture.This has become my daily foundation and I see no reason to swap to anything else. The price here is far better than any competitors as well.I’ve seen some mention that the color didn’t match their skin well. I would advise that you still need to choose the right tone for your skin. I couldn’t apply a dark or warm tone to my pale cool skin and expect it to match. I do hope they’ll release a broader range of colors for a more diverse group of customers as it’s still pretty limited to light skin tones.

   It’s magic
   I am a senior woman who has used many different foundations in my years, but none have performed like this Almay product has. It comes out of the tube almost white which is a little off putting. But when applied to the skin, magic happens. It evens out my face color, giving it a very natural appearance. It is light, unlike most foundations, and doesn’t even look like I have any foundation on my face, just a wonderful, even, smooth appearance. I can’t say enough good things about it.

   Amazing!
   I have always had a hard time finding a good foundation since I got older and my skin changed. When I received this, I had to try it right away. I squeezed a dab on my hand and, what the heck??? It’s grey. It says “medium”, but it’s grey! I though it was defective. Then, I tried rubbing a bit on my face. It literally turns to the color of your skin. It’s amazing!!! I will definitely be buying this from now on.

   Love this foundation!
   It is a ‘smart’ foundation. I bought the medium tone. It is ‘smert’ because somehow it knows your complexion and becomes ‘the right color’ once you apply it. Nice coverage. It looks very natural and is light on the face. No issues with creases. It doesn’t get caught in facial lines. It lasts all day. It hasn’t plugged pores. I have an oily complexion. It doesn’t make my face feel heavy.Key point: it only costs half the price than if you bought it in the drugstore. I’ll be buying it on Amazon from here on out!

   A yes and no…
   If you like lighter coverage this is great. I wouldn’t say it’s skin matching it does a decent enough job but I feel like it leaves a slightly warm undertone. I had to fix a bit with some lighter setting powder. It wears well though! It doesn’t draw out fine lines and wrinkles like a lot of the other foundations. I’m 45. I’ll make this my more freshed face look. Perfect for my summer skin. Has a long wear, oddly enough. Great for the price.

   Looks and feels
   Was a little darker then I wanted but was easy to put on, blends well, very happy with the look and how it feels. For it being to dark I will order again but in a lighter shade

   Your skin will thank you!
   This foundation is not only hypoallergenic but it applies amazingly. I simply use a a makeup brush and it come south as a white cream and goes on to match your skintone. It matches so perfectly. I love how how you can apply it and leave it without having to use a setting powder. I 100% recommend this product for anyone and especially those with sensitive skin.
