Heats up fast as advertised. I have thin fine hair and this tool actually gave me nice curls/waves with minimal effort. I was careful not to wrap hair tight on brush to prevent snarling as others had reviewed. It worked great to just be careful. I am older and very happy to find something easy to hold on to and use.

Great Hot Curl Brush with no tangles.
I recently injured my shoulder and I am only able to really use my non dominant hand. I can partially use ,y right but cannot lift it up far enough to curl the hair on the top. I tried Several items to be able to do something with my hair. Finally found this one that works Great, is light enough to use with my left hand and to be able to hold in my injured right hand. It has the temperature control I need, and does NOT tangle hair in the bristles. I would recommend this product for anyone that curls their hair with a brush instead of an iron. Even the price was reasonable. I am so happy with the Amazon Return process that allowed me to try many different items until I was finally able to find this gem.
