Another Winter Winner!
I tried out my latest “Amazon Essential” Winter Coat and, as always, it did not fail to impress or perform. This is my 5th Winter Coat acquisition, over the years, from the Amazon Brand and they are my favorites in price and performance. Money well spent with the added bonus of a well made item. No defects, good looking and above all Warm. You simply can’t go wrong with the “Amazon Essentials” brand. They just get better each year because they listen to their customers and improve on their items for the better. Additionally I own more than these 5 winter coats. I’ve managed to establish clothing to cover all seasons and all have served me well. I honestly recommend the Amazon Essential Brand. It’s a win-win, how can you lose?

Very warm, outstanding quality
This was way more than I was expecting for the price. The fit is good, the quality is great, it is the warmest jacket I’ve ever had. It is built for really cold, I mean cold in the 0 to 30 degree range, when zipped up and the hood pulled in tight you feel zero air coming in through the jacket. It is as warm as can be. I highly recommend it for anyone who might be outside in the cold for any length of time.

Very warm – hood sits too close/tight when not in use
Price is good. Jacket is very warm. Overall fit is good. The hood is a bit annoying. When you’re not using the hood, it sits up too high and tight and annoyingly brushes the back of your head. If the hood hung a little looser or was removable, this jacket would be just about perfect.Love the warm, lined pockets. The hood is warm and comfortable when in use though it does make it a little hard to hear nearby conversation or quiet cars approaching.

True to size
My boyfriend wears a 5xlt normally as he is 6 foot 1 and 340 lbs. We ordered a 6xlt for a little extra room and it is extremely roomy. Enough for him to wear his thick sweater underneath and still have room!! It’s thick, warm and most importantly, long! It goes below his waist, which he has a hard time finding in winter coats. I would say order the size you would normally wear and it should fit great! Definitely recommend!

Hood is NOT Removable
I paid about $25 for this jacket from Amazon Essentials. I bought the previous model 2 years ago and it looks like they improved the button up flap to cover the zipper by making the buttons hidden. It’s a sleeker look.I usually get a size larger for a looser fit but went with the LARGE and it fits fine without being too tight. The color is a dark chocolate brown. The pics shown online are lighter than the actual color. If you wear the jacket with an orange cap, you are all set to attend a Cleveland Browns football game. ðI already have plenty of XL jackets in black, blue or green so this was an opportunity to try out a different size and color.I saw 2 “Vine” reviews where they mentioned the hood was removable. This is NOT true. The hood is permanently attached. Not a deal breaker since Amazon sells a version without a hood. The hood is shorter in length than the previous model so it fits me better.Overall, if you can get this on sale for $25 or less, it’s a great value.

Great!
Great value, great product, sizing is true to size. The fabric and thickness of the coat were surprisingly better than I had thought it would be. This is a great winter coat so far used in temps of 30 degrees F, has kept me warm during snowfall and strong winds. The price was too good to be true but the jacket itself exceeded my expectations.

excellent article ! attention il taille large. si vous etes habitues a xl , le L suffira.un seul detail un peu genant …..la fermeture eclair est montée comme chez les femmes,à l’envers donc….çà n’est pas bien grave.Cette parka est parfaire pour les grands froids (moins 10 sans probleme)

Eigentlich wollte ich dieses mal eine Markenjacke kaufen. Diese Markenjacken, die man so kennt mit dem Kreuz drauf usw bis 300 Euro wollte ich investieren. Hab es mir doch anders überlegt, da es zu viele Fakes von Markenjacken im Umlauf sind.Hab mich für diese Amazonjacke entschieden, wegen des Preises und der guten Bewertung. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Jacke sitzt gut für meinen sportlichen Körperbau und sie ist richtig warm. Preis / Leistung top. So habe ich etliche Euro gespart! Der kalte Winter kann kommen!
