Another Winter Winner!
I tried out my latest “Amazon Essential” Winter Coat and, as always, it did not fail to impress or perform. This is my 5th Winter Coat acquisition, over the years, from the Amazon Brand and they are my favorites in price and performance. Money well spent with the added bonus of a well made item. No defects, good looking and above all Warm. You simply can’t go wrong with the “Amazon Essentials” brand. They just get better each year because they listen to their customers and improve on their items for the better. Additionally I own more than these 5 winter coats. I’ve managed to establish clothing to cover all seasons and all have served me well. I honestly recommend the Amazon Essential Brand. It’s a win-win, how can you lose?

Very warm, outstanding quality
This was way more than I was expecting for the price. The fit is good, the quality is great, it is the warmest jacket I’ve ever had. It is built for really cold, I mean cold in the 0 to 30 degree range, when zipped up and the hood pulled in tight you feel zero air coming in through the jacket. It is as warm as can be. I highly recommend it for anyone who might be outside in the cold for any length of time.

Runs Small, But Is Well Made Coat
I bought this for my husband. He typically wears a 2XL, which is usually a little loose fitting for him. He is 5’10 and 220lbs. Most of his weight is carried as a “beer belly”. This coat, although it fit well over his shoulders, and length, was very tight fitting over his stomach area. He tried it on while only wearing a t-shirt and it was a tight fit and hard to zip up over his belly. If he was wearing a sweater, or layers, it wouldn’t work.On a different note, my son really likes the coat, and we are keeping it for him. He is 6′, and 200lbs. It is loose fitting for him, so if he needed to layer under it, he’d have room. The only thing suggested to make this coat perfect was if it had a drawstring at the waist, so you could tighten it up to keep wind from blowing up into the coat, as it hangs loose.

Perfect for cold weather
I’ve lived in Montana my whole life, today it’s -8° but with the wind it’s -42°I bought this for my son but I wore it today and I don’t think I’ll be giving it back to him! Inside the pockets it’s super warm and fuzzy. The hood blocks all the wind, my face stayed warm while I was at the gas pump for what seemed like forever! The sleeves are a little long, just like I like them. It’s a big coat but in the car with the seatbelt on it doesn’t seem like there’s too much going on. When you put the hood back and lean your head back it makes the perfect neck support. I’ll probably get everyone this exact coat. I’ve never been happier with a coat in my life! I hate winter but I’ll definitely look forward to this comfy coat!!

Hood is NOT Removable
I paid about $25 for this jacket from Amazon Essentials. I bought the previous model 2 years ago and it looks like they improved the button up flap to cover the zipper by making the buttons hidden. It’s a sleeker look.I usually get a size larger for a looser fit but went with the LARGE and it fits fine without being too tight. The color is a dark chocolate brown. The pics shown online are lighter than the actual color. If you wear the jacket with an orange cap, you are all set to attend a Cleveland Browns football game. ðI already have plenty of XL jackets in black, blue or green so this was an opportunity to try out a different size and color.I saw 2 “Vine” reviews where they mentioned the hood was removable. This is NOT true. The hood is permanently attached. Not a deal breaker since Amazon sells a version without a hood. The hood is shorter in length than the previous model so it fits me better.Overall, if you can get this on sale for $25 or less, it’s a great value.

SURPRISINGLY DECENT AND CHEAPER THAN EVEN USED ONES
I waited for months till this went on sale for around $35, and still had my doubts. Unfortunately people selling their used crap on eBay think their Goodwill quality used crap is worth a fortune these days, and my old winter coat is now too small (thanks shutdowns for the weight gain!) so I had to get another coat before winter somehow. To my pleasant surprise, this is actually pretty heavy and warm. I was expecting the worst, given the price, but I just can’t afford more no matter what. Thank you for far exceeding my expectations!

If you want a thick, heavy,& very warm coat then you will like this jacket. Well made and good value. True to size for the small.

excellent article ! attention il taille large. si vous etes habitues a xl , le L suffira.un seul detail un peu genant …..la fermeture eclair est montée comme chez les femmes,à l’envers donc….çà n’est pas bien grave.Cette parka est parfaire pour les grands froids (moins 10 sans probleme)

Eigentlich wollte ich dieses mal eine Markenjacke kaufen. Diese Markenjacken, die man so kennt mit dem Kreuz drauf usw bis 300 Euro wollte ich investieren. Hab es mir doch anders überlegt, da es zu viele Fakes von Markenjacken im Umlauf sind.Hab mich für diese Amazonjacke entschieden, wegen des Preises und der guten Bewertung. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Jacke sitzt gut für meinen sportlichen Körperbau und sie ist richtig warm. Preis / Leistung top. So habe ich etliche Euro gespart! Der kalte Winter kann kommen!
