A worth while upgrade
Upgraded from a measly Ryzen 5 3400G to this 5600X. Literally a night and day difference. Frame times are so much better and it just makes everything overall much smoother. Paired with an RTX 2060, my build can run pretty much any game at medium-high settings. I was even surprised to see that the 2060 was a bottleneck when paired to the 5600X. I would imagine a 3070 or even a 4060 would be a better match for this CPU. Temps are not an issue at all when paired with an ID-COOLING 240mm AIO and some Noctua thermal paste. Overall, great value for the price, and a great option for the AM4 platform.

One of the best AM4 cpu for money and builds
Been in my system for a little while now, runs great, paired with an rtx 3070 it can play most games in high settings. For productivity it works wonders as well, probably a factor with other parts in my system but boot times are lightning fast, google tabs load quickly, there is so much more. If you are on a bit of a budget, you should get this CPU.

Snagged this cpu for like 130 or 140 CAD..Can’t quite remember but I’m beyond happy with the performance for the low price. Great upgrade for anyone with AM4 socket motherboard who doesn’t want to move onto the next gen yet. This CPU will definitely still be capable for several more years as it’s speed is great and AMD is still supporting AM4 chipsets for the foreseeable future.

Resultó una excelente actualización para mi viejo core del 2011. No es el procesador mas nuevo pero funciona a la perfección para trabajar zbrush, photoshop y maya. Tiene un consumo eléctrico aceptable y esta corriendo muy frÃo con mi disipador thermal right silver soul.
