Stiff knees’ new best friend!
I love my new ANCHEER Under Desk Elliptical Machine! I wanted it for my stiff knees from sitting too long at work, but I am so hooked on it at home, I haven’t brought it to work, yet!This elliptical is a beast – to me, anyway!! It is easy to set up and lift to move, but it might be too heavy for an elderly person to move around. Setting it up is relatively simple and over time, I will be able to make adjustments it without referring to the manual. It is quiet and when set up for “auto” mode – you can, read a book, talk on the phone, whatever, with little thought on your legs. If you’re on a higher and faster mode, you will pay more attention!I wear sneakers or a soled slipper for extra gripping when using – I would not use it bare-footed. I like the scrolling display to show details like my speed and distance. I haven’t paused it during auto mode to see if it picks up where you left off or if it starts from the beginning.Looking forward to bringing the elliptical to work for midday exercise when I’m stuck at the desk! Great price point for what you get!

Fun to use but don’t expect magical fitness results.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with this. It’s easy to set up and stays in place. If it’s great underneath my desk and I’m able to use it well working comfortably. But it’s unlikely to make that big of a fitness difference but it’s still been nice to have.Some things to be aware of, the elliptical has 13 separate moods. A “HU” mode where are you can freely configure the pedal direction and speed during the 30-minute working time using the remote control or panel on the elliptical. And 12 pre-set modes where the machine will work through a minute by minute routine with no user control of speed or direction. You can find details on what the 12 preset routines entail in the documentation. All 13 modes are automatic in the sense that the petals move themselves, you’re not setting resistance your setting the speed of which the pedals move. So it’s getting your legs moving but it’s not necessarily giving you a high intensity workout. Far from it. But I would wager it’s still better than just sitting stationary at your desk.The machine is relatively lightweight and sturdy. The plastic field moderate quality. It doesn’t feel flimsy, but it doesn’t feel top of the line either. It can be difficult if not impossible to see the screen when using the machine at your desk. And even if you can, you’ll be unlikely to be able to make out what the indicator lights are saying the machine is displaying. A simple LCD screen on the remote would have been a great quality of life feature. The machine has a approximate distance display, but nowhere in the documentation does it tell you what units are being used. And it’s there’s no way to configure the calorie calculation so it will likely be wildly off. When operating the remote it needs to be underneath the desk pointed at the unit to work which depending on how you’re sitting and your desk can be a little awkward. My biggest gripe is the start/stop function. It restarts and resets the 30 minute timer it doesn’t pause. So if you’re in one of the preset programs and you need to readjust your chair or get up and get something, there is no way to pause. If you hit start/stop it concludes the exercise hitting it again will start it from the beginning with your settings reset.Still, overall it’s been a nice addition to my desk. It’s been really nice using it well doing paperwork at my desk and I’ve been really impressed with how easy it is to use without being distracting.

Get Moving
Iâm a remote worker that sits at a desk all day. I donât have a lot of excuses to get up and move around so having this under my desk is a great way to get the blood flowing in my legs when Iâm in back to back meetings.I donât think this is in lieu of additional workouts but itâs a great âandâ to have!

Great for when your sitting all day
This is nice when Iâm sitting at my desk and I need to move my legs, it functions well. This company has great exercise equipment, the range of motion is great and itâs easy to use. The weight is alittle heavy but not too much. The different speeds are great as well. 10/10
