Does the job.
Clever design. Tension on the line tightens the grip.

We used this right away after receiving it and weâre happy with its performance. It did the job it was meant to do and we hope to get many years of use.

Great anchor for canoes.
I’ll be honest, I bought this thinking it wouldn’t work as everyone stated. I was wrong. It worked just fine. I spent a week canoeing and camping on a river, often we would have to tie off on the banks. Does it work on grass… I wouldn’t know I couldn’t bring myself to test it as I didn’t’ want to risk loosing the canoes. But it worked awesomely whenever I had to grab it one a sign post, branch or small tree. Even in parts of the river where the water was flowing rapidly. One night our camp did not have the space to pull the canoes all ashore, so we had to leave them floating overnight. The anchor did exactly what it was supposed to do. Other than the gentle bumping of the canoes in the current, there was no problems. It held three canoes for over 12 hours.

Ingenious design!
Havenât used with my kayak yet but did end up using one for a campground drying line / bug zapper hanger. Really handy to just clip on and the run a line.

Love it!
Not sure why I held off on this purchase. Absolutely loved it on the kayak. I 3D printed a holder for my T-track and couldn’t be happier! I added an anchor cleat as well for tie-off after a few trips tying to the handle.

Very nice
I like that you get 2 of these and they are heavy duty and have an amazing grip. If you paddle up to a beach they would not work, you will obviously need something to clamp on to. Once clamped your kayak or canoe is not going anywhere. I highly recommend these if you are on the water a lot.

Works but long rope
This works great but if the rope that comes with it is pretty long . I found myself having to adjust the slack so I could stay put in the water . Do enjoy this to anchor my kayak when I need to step off for a bit
