Adjustable Arm Band for Dexcom G7
I purchased this item, based on a recommendation from Dexcom. I have recently started using the Dexcom system and was having issues keeping the sensor on my arm. I tried this particular one several times and the issue I had was the band would slip down off of the sensor. I tried this in the summertime, so I could rate this unfairly, as the moisture and humidity from being outside could have been a contributing factor. I still have the band and now that it has cooled off, will try again and see if I have the same results.

Cannot wear on leg and sensor must be carefully oriented to work on arm.
The Dexcom sensor is egg shaped, not round, and this cover is shaped to fit it closely. Thus you must orient the sensor when you install it to make sure the long axis of the oval sensor aligns with the arm in order for this cover to work. Pretty tough to do if you are right-handed and trying to apply it to the right arm with the left hand. The other problem for me is that I wear my sensor on my leg, not my arm. The band on this thing is only large enough to fit an arm so it was totally unuseful.

Great CGM Strap
This strap is great for using especially in the summer when water and sweat can prematurely make the tape and over tape come loose. If you’re in an environment where you will tend to bang into it, this is also really good for keeping it in place.I found the strap comfortable to wear as well. This was initially a concern, but as long as it’s snug and not overly tight, you will quickly forget that it’s there.

This works……
I got this because apparently I have an allergic reaction to the adhesives on the several patch bandages I’ve tried. It does what it’s supposed to do, but instructions on how to place the sensor to fit the space in the cover would be helpful. If I hadn’t taken the time to read the reviews from other users, I would have had no idea that in order to get it to fit right, you have to place the sensor in the same position as the shape of the cover, as the pointy part of the “teardrop” needs to face towards your elbow, and it lines up with the applicator’s button you push to put the sensor on your arm.The only reason it’s getting 4 stars is because, quite frankly, it’s terribly ugly. It comes in black, and therefore, it is very visible under short sleeve or sleeveless shirts. Perhaps a neutral shade of beige would be nice. The fit is fine, after about 2 hours, I barely felt it at all, but the edges of the velcro do itch and poke. Perhaps making them rounded instead of squared would alleviate that problem. I don’t wear it all the time, mainly when it looks like the overlay is going to start peeling, or if I’m sweating heavily, will I put it on. I have slept in it, and didn’t have any problems with false readings due to the pressure on it, but there is space under the cover, it looks like it never actually pushes down on the sensor, so maybe that’s why. This also does a great job of preventing the sensor getting yanked off by bumping it, I tend to run into door jambs alot, and have lost a few sensors doing that too.Overall, if you suffer the same kind of issues with the adhesive patches that I do, this will at least give you 10 days use out of your sensor. It will pay for itself the first time you use it.

Expensive But Works
This thing is pretty expensive for what you get. However, it does work to the point where I admittedly bought a second one. This is for my daughter so we needed a second one so she could swap back and forth after showering. Other models for the Dexcom G6 would give you two or more of these things for less. Unfortunately there are not very many makers of those that fit the G7 yet so we are forced to pay the higher price. Also as many other’s have noted in reviews it isn’t the most comfortable and can be irritating to the skin. However, since my daughter is allergic to the Patch Glue we’ve had to resort to this… as it does work.

Isnât what I thought it was
Says it fits the dexcom g7 sensors but it definitely wouldnât fit mine. Even looks like a g6 in person. I will say that the strap is great value and does expand for those with larger arms.

Arm band for dexcom 7
I was having problems keeping my sensor in my arm so I ordered this band to help hold in place like description says. But what I got was a arm band that does not secure the sensor but slides up and down my arm no matter how tight I made the band. Only thing it managed to do was tear out my sensor from my arm.
