Silicone
Targets hard-to-reach trigger points in the back and gluteal muscles, including the Latissimus Dorsi, Thoracolumbar Fascia, Quadratus Lumborum, Gluteus Medius, Gluteus Minimus, and Piriformis, to help alleviate back strain pain
Also serves as a recommended tool for relieving nerve pain, such as sciatica and piriformis syndrome (back pain & hip pain referred to the leg), by releasing muscle tension around the sciatic nerve and increasing blood flow to aid in recovery from chronic pain
Unlike surface-level massagers, the LittleMum back massager exerts deep pressure to effectively break up muscle trigger points that often lie in deeper muscles. Simply lie down and let your body weight do the work
While maintaining the spine in a neutral curve, the fourteen therapy nodes of the LittleMum Back Massager are ergonomically placed on both sides of the spine, targeting common trigger points in the back and gluteal muscles. The rounded bottom allows you to rock on it and adjust the pressure as needed
Made of food-grade silicone, this massager is sturdy and heavy (4.5 pounds, four times heavier than the copycat’s 1.2-pound EVA foam). It is highly resilient and springs back when compressed, providing a genuine massaging experience. Patented in the UK and backed by a 15-year warranty

This is a solid and effective self-care tool.
I purchased Lil’ Mum Back Trigger Point Massager, Aug 2024. I’ve been incorporating it a couple of times a week into my evening bedtime yoga routine. I really like its weight and solidity. The silicon texture “grips” my mat and stays put. There’s a bit of a comfort learning curve, to relax over the shape of it with all the poky bumps… but those bump hit ALL the right spots!THIS WEEK, LIL’ MUM REALLY PROVED HER WORTH.I took a hard tumble – not seriously hurt, but my whole body, especially spine, was stiff and out of kilter all afternoon. That evening, I carefully positioned Lil’ Mum, gently lowering my weight down onto it at each recommended location. (I was very glad to have been practicing before I was hurt.) At mid-back positions, with a couple of deep exhales, I experienced a half dozen spontaneous vertebral adjustments! This was instantly followed by a sense mental clarity and alertness…like waking up from the brain fog I’d been in all since falling. (IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I did not hit my head in the fall, or I’d have gone straight away for a medical exam.)Yes, it’s a bit pricey. But is it too pricey for a well-made, effective self-help tool?Worth every penny as far as I’m concerned.I’d first ordered one of the less expensive versions… hard, smooth plastic…no weight, no give. Useless. I returned it for a refund and decided to take a chance on Lil’ Mum.NO REGRETS!

Works wonders!
My husband and I were both skeptical about this item, especially because it wasnât cheap. It arrived and was quite heavy, but itâs well made. My husband has to use it while laying on the bed as he cannot get down on the floor or back up because his knees and shoulders are both shot and need replaced. I have used it while lying on the bed, however I do feel it works better when on the floor unless you have a much firmer mattress, which we do not. We both love this, it works great to relieve the tension in your muscles. It hits right on those trigger points to help release the enzymes and loosen those tight muscles. We love it so much that it got packed in our suitcase for our recent vacation to the beach. Itâs easy to use and it truly does work! I actually need to go use it right now, lol. As an FYI, it can hurt when placing it on tender areas, but for anyone who has gone through deep tissue massages to work those trigger points, you know how painful that can be, but itâs so worth it because it truly helps. This can be the same kind of thing, it can hurt at first, a no pain no gain experience, but for me, itâs a good pain because I know Iâm going to get some relief. Buy it, I swear youâll love it.

I Am Flabbergasted! It works!!
I am flabbergasted!! I have been in pain for years. If they sell it for pain, I own it. I have tried everything. My only regret is not finding this thing sooner. Don’t wait. Buy it. Use it. It’s literally a lifesaver.I have metal pins in my right knee and a myriad of other 20 year old injuries from a car crash. Recently my pain in my hips and glutes has been so intense I can’t sleep, can’t walk for more than a few minutes and nothing I used in the past could even take the edge off. So again, I searched Amazon and bought this odd little thing.I used it laying on the bed first because it is very hard and I thought using it on the floor would be too much. I positioned the highest nub on the right side in my primary trigger point in the center of my right glut just below my sciatic and after the first immediately shock of pain felt unbelievable relief. After about 15 minutes, my hips popped back into socket! Of course, a blinding shock at first but then sweet bliss. My hips and glutes were still sore, but the deep, sharp pain was gone. I literally cried with relief.I’ve used it every day this week after sitting in my desk chair for hours until the day before yesterday. Every day I felt better and better. I got busy and skipped a day and started to feel pain again. I’m using it now and the pain is melting away as I type.In addition to my hip, it’s excellent on the trigger point under my right shoulder blade. I’ve also gotten some relief of my IT band laying on my side.Yes, this bugger is pricey for a hunk of plastic, but worth every penny! It’s about $4900 cheaper than the freaking massage chair I just bought and it works better! I would have saved $1000s if I had found this thing years ago. Get it now! You won’t regret it.

Firm relief from spasms
This is certainly pricey but very well constructed and firm enough to truly work out knots.Itâs a bit heavy and bulky so positioning can be a little tricky if you have any twisting limitations like those of us with back issues. I do wish it were also a bit thinner in profile because it can be awkward to lay on and takes some fidgeting to make it comfortable. Once you get it right it does provide great pressure.

Relief at last
I have suffered from a trigger point pain in my glutes for some time. This is the only product to actually give relief. I have tried medication, exercise and physical therapy and this is the only thing that worked! The device is heavy but that is part of why it is effective. Donât buy cheaper knockoffs, only the real thing will give you relief immediately . I highly recommend it.

Did not like the product
I did not like the product. It was more aggravating than beneficial to me. However, it did get a lot of good reviews so thatâs good for some

Top Notch Product
This product is fantastic. Like other LittleMum items I have purchased over the last four months, this back trigger point massager is a high quality product that actually works. I have purchased several massage devices going back to the 1980s. None of them matches the quality, sturdiness, or durability of the LittleMum. There are at least two other LittleMum products I intend to purchase over the next couple of months. It is definitely worth a little extra money to get something that is effective and not a piece of junk that doesn’t do what it purports to.

Helpful at pressure point massage
Iâve recommended to my pregnant friends. It was helpful in working through some of my back problems.

As a professional massage, therapist, and a person who loves to work out I highly recommend this little gadget. Take it easy at first.

Es mucho más de lo que esperaba, su calidad es muy buena y la firmeza que te da para tocar los puntos de la espalda es impresionante. Una verdadera herramienta de tratamiento para contracturas.

OK, this item is excellent and works as described. If, like me, you have suffered with muscle knots in your back and general tightness, then this may be the tool for you. I have tried various rollers, both hard and soft, tennis balls, back stretcher etc.The relief this item provides is what I had sought from all the rest, but to no avail. My hips, lower and upper back have completely loosened up, after using this for about 10 minutes. You get what you pay for in life and after the first use I certainly didnât regret it!

So happy with this firm (not foam) massager. This is the one to get and not one of the less expensive knockoffs. Well worth the price. Iâm not as sore and need chiro less often since using this item.

I have spikey balls I’ve used for years, plus many other bits including a ma roller which has helped me alot. But this was such a lovely surprise, like nothing I’ve ever tried before. You just sink into it & feel like your knots & tight ‘melt’ away.Wish I’d got it years ago, trapezius LittleMum very good also. Slow movement of the arms in various ways really hits on the trigger points.
