Good value for a good product for beginners
I like the product a lot. Be warned that the instructions included make almost no sense, so look up some how tos on YouTube or TikTok first. As the documentation is typical Google translate gibberish. The yarn included with the kit is almost a total waste as there isnât enough per color to do more than maybe a 6in by 6in square. Be sure to budget in additional yarn and tufting cloth if youâre serious about picking this up as a hobby. Oh and also make sure you have or are planning to build a quality frame.

Pretty easy once you find a rhythm
It can be frustrating at first but once you figure out your speed and rhythm it works great. I did have to sharpen the cutter on it after a few projects. I recommend using higher quality backer to avoid rips. Yes, the good stuff costs more but it’s worth it.

My favourite hobby
I got this tufting gun to try out tufting, and ever since Iâve been making rugs non-stop! The gun has gotten me through about 29 rugs so far and shows no sign of giving up! Get some sewing machine lubricant and take care of it. Iâm sure there are better guns available, but this one is perfect for beginners and probably intermediate tufters!

Iâve had this tufting gun for almost a year now and I like it a lot for the price . My only issue was the power cord itself. My power cord went out after about 7 months so I had to replace it however the tufting gun works great

Great little kit to get started. Iâve made many rug with it. Make sure you keep it cleaned and oiled, I imagine it will last a long time.

Donât buy
Stopped working during first use. Plugged in to several different outlets and no power to the box light or the gun. Super disappointed. The box it was shipped in was not even taped shut so Iâm shocked it all arrived in the box. Donât waste your money.

After my initial review below, they immediately offered to replace the gun. I didn’t take them up on it as a figured it out in my own. After several months of use, one of the prongs on the power cord broke off. It’s a multi part cord so I reached out to see if they would just send a new cord, and they again immediately offered a refund or a brand new gun. I did take them up on a new gun. My old one is still going strong, just the power cord had been damaged. They were very easy and polite to deal with. The gun is working as described and I’m pleased with its performance. I would certainly recommend as they are very willing to address any issues, and they honor the warranty with no hassle. What have you got to lose?The hole on the top of the needle part that feeds the yarn through is simply too small. Don’t know if it’s a manufacturing defect, but i assume so. The instructions say to use two threads of yarn, and I’m using a medium weight (4) yarn, as nearly every instructional video says to do, and it’s very hard to even get the threader through the hole. Every 15 seconds the yarn bunches and stops feeding and I have to stop. It’s beyond frustrating. At this point it’s just a waste of time to continue trying. Returning.
