   One of my best buys!
   I recently purchased this infrared heat lamp from Beurer and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This lamp is versatile and can be used for multiple purposes, from providing pain relief to relaxing sore muscles after a long day. I have found it particularly helpful in alleviating my neck and shoulder pain.The lamp itself is well-built and easy to use, with a simple on/off switch and an adjustable arm to position the lamp at the desired angle.    Great product
   Powerful heat that works much better than a heating pad on sore muscles. It also cleared up my sinuses. Definitely recommend this product if you’re looking to purchase an infrared light.

   Quality product!
   I have just used this for the first time and it is much better than the cheapie bulb lamp style one I bought (it even heats at certain temps and up to an hour, which isn’t safe if it was real IR). I like the features of the cheap quality one in that it has a desk lamp type base that is highly adjustable and can stand on the floor at decent height.However, this Beurer one feels like awesome clinical grade quality. It’s so simple to use. I urge you to read the instructions first. Apparently you have to let it cool down with the automatic fan after 15 min of heat, for 5 min and THEN turn it off. The instructions say to be between 12-16” of distance and I felt the heat plenty from far! I could see where it could burn you if you are not careful. Heat feels great! I wish it had a tall stand, like a desk lamp because you have to find a surface that can bring it to the height of your ailment. Since it is my first treatment, I cannot yet say if improvement will follow but of the products out there, I found it effective as far as REAL IR heat and the quality is there, it’s easy to use and I love the swivel adjustment. It even comes with eye goggles for protection. Odd the instructions say don’t use directly on face but in another part of the booklet, it can be intended for it. It’s a keeper for me!

   Works effectively and for a long long time.
   I purchased two of them. One back in 2016 that i still use and one for a friend in 2020. We have no complaints and only great things to say. Product use is intinutive- as good as new even after 8 years of use. At this point i use it more for relaxation as my muscle injury is completely healed. A great product to have.

   A powerful, effective heat lamp
   I grew up in Germany and was used to treating sinus infections, muscle pain, and other ailments with infrared light that provides deep tissue heating. What’s typically available here in the U.S., on the other hand, are warm water bottles and warm rice socks, etc., which do not reach the deeper tissue and only warm the outside. Recently, I discovered that Beurer is selling infrared heat lamps through Amazon. Today, I received the IL 50 infrared lamp and tried it out immediately, as I am currently suffering from a sinus infection. It works very well. I also have chronic muscle pain and I am happy that I can use the lamp to improve circulation and warm up the muscle tissue, all of which, in my experience, leads to pain relief and relaxation.As far as functionality is concerned, the lamp has a timer that allows to define the heating time between 1 and 15 minutes in 1 minute increments. Pressing the right hand power button allows you to set the timer (with the left button). Pressing the power button again will start the lamp and let it run for the selected amount of time. This is a very simple, intuitive interface. The handles allow you to adjust the angle of the lamp according to the area you’re treating. Again, a very easy, simple design that makes using it very easy. With 300 watts, the lamp provides a good amount of warmth that can be applied to larger areas, such as your back or your legs, too. The user manual and the lamp itself also contain clear and visible warnings not to get too close to the lamp or expose your eyes to it, both of which could lead to injury (see the comments for additional info on eye protection).So far, I am extremely happy with the purchase. My only complaint would be that the smaller model (IL 30), which I might have purchased instead of the larger IL 50, is not available at a comparable price. The IL 50 is priced like the German model (ca. $60), while the small IL 30 costs $58.40 plus $31.58 shipping (but it is available in Germany for 29.99 Euros, ca. $35, with free shipping). That seems unreasonable, but it obviously has no impact on my rating of the IL 50 model.

   I bought one for parents, my mom has joint pains sometimes. She says this helps a lot.Please maintain some distance from the light source panel though, it emits a lot of heat. Please be careful extra careful about applying to face.

    I bought it 3 years ago and it’s still working! I definitely have more energy in winter and I don’t even use it for more than 10-15min in the morning. Good value for the price.
