Simple, safe, and effective
I got tired of going to an ENT every two years to have my ears cleaned of cerumen build-up and impaction. I looked for alternatives to an ENT or Minute Clinic, but all the market offered were special ear drops that softened the ear wax. Such products are unnecessary, as hydrogen peroxide poured into the ear does essentially the same thing (and better, too). Note, also, that a few droplets of olive oil will do the trick, as well. My problem, ultimately, was extraction of the ear wax. There is nothing on the market that provides people the means by which to carefully and effectively remove the cerumen from the ear canal. I researched the Bionix Otoclear tip and was intrigued by its design, but found I needed a medical license to purchase it.Thankfully, this technology was provided here on Amazon, coupled with a Waterpick Flosser unit and three adapter wands. There was even a small collection of plastic curettes providedâtools I’ve been searching for but could not obtain due, again, to the medical licensing issue. Very carefully, I used one of the curettes to remove some impacted cerumen (this is a potentially hazardous task to do on your own, so please go slowly and cautiously if you attempt this) and finished off the remaining wax with the irrigation method using the Waterpick and Otoclear tips. If took a few rinses, but I removed a large sum of wax from my right ear canal and I’m happy to report this device worked quite well for the task I purchased it for.Readers please note: This product may look intimidating, but do give it a try. Sticking a device that spurts water into your ear tends to be a little worrying, but rest assured that the three-jet spray moves along the inside of your ear canal, and does not directly target the tympanic membrane deep inside your ear. You may use all three speeds: low, medium, and high for water flow. Keep in mind that you want to fill the water pick with water that is room temperature, not too hot and not too cold. If you use water that is either too hot or cold, you may experience dizziness while using the device. Take it slowly and carefully, and you will have good results.

Iâm relieved that it ACTUALLY works!
I read the reviews before buying and felt hopeful about all the positive results I was reading as someone who in the past has had to go 1x per year to get my painful ears drained from wax.Iâm not one to write reviews but it felt important to let others know that this ACTUALLY works.Just used it for the first time, came fully charged, and the wax in both ears came out! I put debrox in 20 minutes before for each ear then ran the waterpik a few times in both ears and BAM! Clear ears! Days of pain saved!

Use this…DONT EVER USE QTIPS
I highly recommend this product. I have always had problems with excessive wax build up due to ear infections at a young age. This product works very well. In my first use of it, it was removed a tic tac sized lump of wax that was blocking my ear canal. So it is very effective. Backing it up with a prescribed or Over the counter ear drops to break up the wax makes this devise all the more effective. I’ve been using once a month and its been great. Use warm water and start the devise when it is in your ear. This will make you never want to use Qtips in your ears again. You shouldnt be doing that anyway, but this ear cleaner will get the job done way better. On another plus side it is also the water flosser. So you can spend a few extra dollars for the attachment of the water tooth flosser if you want. Also if you already have a water pick you may be able to just buy the ear irrigation attachment. I haven’t looked into that but if you do already have a water pick then definatly look for getting just the attachment head and save yourself from having to buy a whole new device.I am happy with it. It lasts a long time as long as you take care of it. I hope you found this review helpful. Thank you.

hyper cautious review concerning ear safety
i bought this for earwax removal. i’m sure that the waterpik works fine, but be aware of one thing. there are only three settings for how hard the water pulses: high, medium, and low. this is typical with hand held, portable waterpiks. the non-portable variety typically have 5-10 settings. i found that even on low, the pressure was too hard. it was slightly painful. for my teeth i wouldn’t care, but i’m hyper cautious when it comes to my ears. they’re a delicate, and different matter entirely, and after one time i was afraid to use it again, on the slight chance that it could damage my eardrum. there’s probably only a slim chance of that happening, but nevertheless even a slim chance is one i don’t want to take. keep in mind also that the water container in the bottom half of the waterpik is extremely small. it only holds about a tenth of the water that my non-portable waterpik holds, so you’ll undoubtedly have to refill it multiple times to do one flushout. i bought it primarily because i wanted to use the three pronged water flow rubber tips that come with the kit. these divert the water flow to the sides of the ear canal, not directly to the eardrum. but it turns out that these can be easily securely pushed onto the ends of the typical long narrow plastic hollow tips that come with any standard waterpik. the three prong rubber tips can also be bought separately on amazon. just look up either “bionix otoclear ear irrigation tips”, or “tridal wave ear washer replacement tips”. ps. make sure you have plenty of peroxide on hand. it’s far more effective than water, as it dissloves the wax. warm it ever so slightly to room temperature or a little above, for the sake of comfort. there are several excellent articles online about how to waterpik your ears properly.
