The adhesive patches are really very easy to tear

First off, these are huge. Huge. This could be a good thing if you’re always knocking off your expensive sensor since the patch covers so much skin. The way they set up the various strips make it very easy to position this properly over the sensor. However, I found it to be much too hot and I developed a rash fairly quickly. Getting it off was a pain. I actually had to use tweezers to get the job done.

Adhesive patches for freestyle libre 3. Patch is quite large.
These adhesive patches fit OK over the freestyle libre 3 unit, I think the center hall could have been a little smaller as it just about sticks on the external part of the freestyle Libre 3. This patch is like a transparent skin. You first peel off the inner paper and stick it over the device and once it is properly in place, you slowly peel off the top transparent plastic layer to leave the stretchy see-through skin behind.However, the overall size of the patch is pretty large. I use my device on my arm and I think that this patch is a little too big for the arm as itâs a big square area that covers a lot of skin. I think it would be perfect for someone who is using it on their abdomen or another part of the body.I have been using another adhesive patch that is made of woven fabric like Band-Aid, and I find that material to be a little more comfortable and breathable than this one. This one sticks to the skin, but after a shower can wrinkle with the heat and sometimes my skin can get itchy underneath. Although the product description claims that it is medical grade glue that does not cause skin irritation, I find that if you wear this patch for a continuous 14 days, the skin does get a little sensitive and dry and itchy.I do like the fact that Each patch comes sealed in a sterile envelope. This also makes it easier to just bring one patch with me when traveling.
