perfect: small, quiet, functional, cute
I have been looking for a fan to fit on my windowsill between the window and blinds that would be quiet enough to not disturb everyday life. I only found one other fan with a smaller footprint (2-Speed Tabletop Box Fan 9-Inch Compact Quiet Home Office, White) and decided to try this one first because it shipped prime (and therefore was also cheaper, with the free shipping) and because of its prettier design.Now that I’ve received it, I do really like the sleek, clean-looking style that doesn’t look “warehouse-y” or industrial indoors. It has a nice slim, simple design and a small footprint (hard to see on the images, the base is T-shaped and incorporated into the shape such that it’s not a full box sitting on its bottom side like most). Fits on my windowsill between the screen and the blinds (even though I think its width is really more accurately ~4.25in rather than 4in flat), which is what I wanted. It’s quite light-weight but seems stable and doesn’t shake at all, or even move when the plastic blinds move around and bump it. The first/slowest speed is so quiet that most likely someone buying it for white noise would be disappointed. This is perfect for me because that speed is sufficient to get air moving in my AC-less apartment on a hot day without making a bothersome amount of noise. The 2nd and 3rd speeds do make some noticeable white noise but I think still an acceptable level for that amount of power–but I doubt I will need those speeds. The only thing that is not 100% wonderful about this fan is that the cord comes out of the back on the side opposite the speed dial and there’s no room in the small base for the cord to pass under rather than over the fan if you want to cord to come out on the other side (e.g. in my apt, the outlet happens to be on the other side relative to the fan). I am able to cross it over on top of the fan behind the frame so that in the end it’s not visible, and it’s a small detail anyway.All in all, this fits my needs perfectly and lives up to its advertised purpose. I am buying 4 more so I have one on every windowsill in my apartment for the summer!

Just The Fan, M’am
I like the efficiency and the compact size of this fan. I don’t miss the bulky frame that other box fans have at all. It’s convenient for setting in a window or doorway to cool a room. It’s also quiet enough for the bedroom at night (running on a lower speed of course). I had a friend over recently and she spotted my fan and said, “Oh I have one of those too.” “Same make and model?” I asked. “Yes,” she said, “I love it.” So does that count as two 5-star reviews? I think so.

Must Buy, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Alright so in my office I have these really oddly shaped small windows. I have a lot of electronics in my office and it gets pretty warm. For example if it’s 70 outside and I have all the windows open in my house, my house will be about 70 but my office will be 76 which is slightly uncomfortable. Long story short I needed a small fan. My office has 2 windows, so I picked up 2 of these. These little fans are absolutely amazing. They are quiet, they push a ton of air and they do exactly what you want. It’s a massive bonus that they can also just sit on a desk or shelf if you want. I loved them so much, I purchased 2 more for bedrooms. These are so much better than giant box fans!

Good for the price
Weâve bought quite a few of these fans. We like them because they are pretty quiet, fit on our window sills, and work well. Cons are they are difficult to clean and seem to crap out after about two years (likely because they get full of dust). But we use them a lot so given the price, they work for us.

Good, until it wasn’t
Enjoyed this fan for what it was, a personal fan with a very small cooling area. Just make sure you are in that area and it’s pretty good at keeping you at a reasonable temperature, when the house isn’t. Very cost-effective, vs say a 20″ box fan, which is basically a noisy, high cost vs cooling ability, piece of flotsam.That said, when the fan begins to make a grinding noise at 14 months (12 mo. warranty), you have to rethink the cost/benefit ratio.

I bought this fan primarily to aid in drying the carpet after shampooing. It gives great air volume, yes the highest level is loud, but that was ok as itâs purpose was to dry the carpet faster. It worked very well in this capacity and Iâm glad I bought it.

after a small issue with delivery (it got lost during transit but they replaced it free), the fan works great. It’s nice and quiet and even on setting 1 it blows the air around really well. During the day I have it backwards and blowing the hot air out and at night pulling the cool air in. We don’t have AC in our apartment so I’m debating on getting two more for my kids room.
