   Great cameras
   These are my third and fourth cameras by BlazeVideo. I really like them. I bought my first one, the 720p model, (SL01, I think) on a lark after reading a newspaper story about a guy who captured wildlife video outside his suburban home. I was amazed at the great videos it captured, including a bobcat I had no idea was living around my house! (See attached video.) So I bought another one that has full 1080p HD to put in my backyard to see what I could find. Then I decided to get one or two more cameras for security purposes around my house. Much cheaper than a security system! The only problem with the first two I have is the red glow from the infrared LEDs at night. Animals don’t see it as anything important, but a human definitely would if the camera were in his field of vision. I noticed that Blaze sells these “no-glow” versions as a two-pack. I can confirm that they work fine, and the LEDs do not glow! They are basically the same as the other two I own. Easy to set up, have an option for four or eight batteries for up to six months of life in the field. The daylight color videos are superb. At night, they are black-and-white and not as sharp, but still good, as you can see by my video. I have seen other trail cameras for twice as much as these. I think these are a real bargain for what they can do.

   Work great, as advertized
   These are easy to set up and view once the batteries allow the inner computer to boot up. I initially thought the cams weren’t working until I discovered the computer needed time to charge in the beginning. Also there is a pause after switching the LCD to set/on before the screen turns on. Rechargeable batteries don’t work as well with these and run out of power faster. However the setup is easy through the LCD and you can set videos to record immediately when motion is detected. Records at night but the videos are dark. This may still be due to the type of batteries used.

   Great Trail Cam!
   This is a great trailcam! It’s easy to use, has a very long battery life (and is flexible with options), and has performed without incident. It does not record audio. It does capture pictures and/or video in time lengths you can select. It can be loaded with 4 or 8 AA batteries, making it flexible for the power requirements or giving it a longer time you can keep it in operation before having to change the batteries.UPDATE: After less than 4 months of use, I am having an issue with one of the cameras. When I close the access door, power to the camera gets disconnected. I have contacted BlazeVideo to see how they will handle this. The product literature states they warrant their products for 1 year. I will write back with the outcome.

   Pretty good especially for the price
   Bought for my newly acquired WI Northwoods property. Found no human trespassers but plenty of freeloading animals.One of my cameras developed a problem on the inside screen. No damage to the camera. Blazevideo did not respond to my warranty request. As described in book, they refer you to dealer/distributer. Amazon auto shuts off returns after 30 days. David at Amazon helped me with return post 30 days. Good deal.

   60 foot ir flash my a**
   Likes first. It has a very good motion sensor it’s very sensitive compared to several other cameras I have and shoots a very wide shot. Though motion blurred it takes nice dawn dusk pics.The bad….. foreground and background in focus, but Deer always blurred unless they are completely still. Like one or two of 100 deer pics are clear detailed pics. The night vision is absolutely terrible. Camera is 11 steps from a tree lick branch next to a popular staging spot that is usually has scrape in past years. Under the tree at night u can tell it’s a deer maybe it’s a buc….. 60 feet advertised ir flash? no way near there’s bright ir light in a very narrow arc for about 6 yards everything else is very poorly lit it’s completely dark past 30 35 feet. Though u get hundreds of empty black pics as the motion sensor still activates camera even though the ir doesn’t reach or faint eyeglow . 15 yards away u can guess there may be something there or it may be a weird exposure or shadow but who knows what it is. My 4 yr old 12 mp browning camera is 40 yards away and lights up the area in front of this camera when it goes off better than when this cams ir flashes( it actually takes really good night pics when the other distant cameras flash goes off while it’s taking a pic…).Tried both of these from pkg neither is good at night. I could handle the daytime photos as they are a very wide view which finds stuff far out and sees things in a big area, even if motion blurred you can tell if it’s a good buck or not , but the night pics are useless unless the deer is in range to hump the camera. Very disappointed was really hoping to like these.A strange thing camera took around 3000 pics the first 2 days only 890 over the next 3 days untill card filled even though a nearby camera didn’t have a dropoff and gets pictures of the same area ( I put this 2nd camera over the scrape area trying to get clearer pics as it’s near the end of the other cameras night range…..boy did that not work)Another weird thing my video card 16 GB filled in 4 days taking 2 pic bursts (3900 pics) and now for some reason it won’t let me move or delete any pics off the card on my laptop or on my card reader dont know if its camera or the memory is afu.This would make a decent security cam if placed near a door or object within 6 to7 yards or had other lighting present, but as a game trail cam it’s useless except for half decent daytime pics or if u had ir lights on a hog feeder it was watchingI did not check video quality as this is a very high traffic area and would fill memory too fast if in video mode.I just put cam out again with larger memory ( and 3 yards from scrapeinstead of 12) will update if it miraculously gets better 2nd time around

   It goes through a lot of batteries
   The worst thing is the turnover of batteries – 8 AA batteries at a time. A rechargeable batteries would make sense or an AC adapter included.The motion detection is halfway between good and not working. We missed a lot of action shots of squirrels defeating the baffle system. We continued changing batteries out and formatting the card in the camera until we could catch a good action of the squirrels leaping from a nearby tree.

    These are great trail cams, perhaps too sensitive at times, but well worth every penny. The upgraded no-glow cameras capture more animals then the previous versions (we have 2 of each), and the videos are high quality. We have a lot of activity on our property and the batteries (with 8 installed) last more than month and take over 6,000 pictures. The batteries probably last longer, but we change them when they start getting low. The cameras easily survive low temperatures, they keep taking pictures at -21c. Despite the packaging which says they only support 32Gb memory cards, we use high speed 64Gb cards in all 4 of ours and they work perfectly. Overall great camera.

    J’ai commandé en janvier 2020 ces 2cameras en janvier 2021 j’ai renouvelé cette commande j’ai reçu un modèle de camera qui n’est pas le même certaines caractéristiques ont été supprimées (agrandissement de la photo non éclairage au début date et l’heure de la prise) je considère que j’ai été trompée par l’annonceur et par amazon
