Perfect for any situation
I bought it when it was on sale and it is by over the expectation! I thought it is just cross body back, but there is a zipper that makes it to the backpack. I was planning to take it for fishing, but also decided to take it to my international travel! Love the bag!

Well made small fishing pack
I use this travel pack for freshwater stream fishing where you just need to carry the essentials and most often used items and leave the tackle box in the truck. It’s lightweight and the straps secure it to your body for easy mobility. This replaces the chest rig I used since I could not see the ground in front of me when traversing down rocky slopes/streams. Just carry your most often used items (leave the kitchen sink in the truck bed) and there will be enough room for snacks and drinks.

Up to you if this is a good or bad thing
I purchased this pack in the Army Green color. The pack that arrived is slightly different than shown, in that the one I received is fully green, without the brown material shown in the product images. Up to you if this is a good or bad thing; I think it looks good in solid green. As others have commented, this is a very small pack. Even knowing it would be small, I was still a bit surprised upon seeing it in person. At first I thought it was not going to work for my purpose, but I was proven wrong as more and more items continued disappearing into the various pockets. There are also a great variety of external attachment points. It might be nice if there were more MOLLE webbing on the outside – the only section that has this webbing is on the outside of the larger external compartment. I was able to attach a flashlight and multitool to this area, although the spacing of the webbing on the pack was a little narrower than the width of the webbing on my sheaths, so it was difficult attaching them in the first place, but they were very secure once attached. All in all, just on the outside of the pack I was able to attach a Thermacell mosquito repeller, fixed blade knife, folding pocket knife, folding camp saw, wrist rocket, multitool, flashlight, and I could have easily added more to the multitude of D-rings, straps, holsters, & other attachment points. The extra included straps further expand the options for how to wear the pack, or how to attach other items to the outside. Overall, this is an extremely versatile pack. The quality of the materials used seems good for the price point. I have not had any problems yet with the zippers. The top grab handle is very robust compared to another bag I own from a similar price point. I’m not worried about using the top handle for hoisting this pack and moving it around, even if it’s heavily loaded. I do think the shoulder sling strap is a bit difficult to adjust, could be more padded, and unbuckling the main strap is a bit too awkward for frequent use due to the elastic directly on top of the buckle. But there are many ways this pack can be worn or carried, so I wouldn’t knock it too much because of the buckle. The pack may be small, but it suited the purpose I needed it for very well. I am now happy to have this compact pack in my arsenal of backpacks and sling bags, and I’m sure it will come in handy again in the very near future.

Perfect size
Very well constructed. Perfect amount of padding where it needs to be…. I’ve thought about buying a second one and using it for a bug out bag….

Practical and durable.
I’m a paramedic and use this bag to carry my personal gear and small needs such as shears, stethoscope, phone chargers, etc. to work. Have been using this daily for 5 years now and it is still in great shape, has been the longest used bag I’ve had for this purpose. I know this is advertised as a bag for fishing gear, which I’m sure it’s great for as well, but this is just a great all round bag for whatever your might need. Great price and holds enough stuff, without being so large it just accumulates unwanted and forgotten junk.

I’m surprised how much I love this pack
Holds everything I need to explore different waters for days and days. Sturdy zippers. Sturdy seams. I abused it for all of 2023 and it doesn’t even show wear and tear. Great pack.
