Follow the Suggestions and Size up
I had bought some cheaper but not really cheaper tap shoes from my studio when I started dance and I just wasn’t loving them. They were too wide for my narrow foot and they didn’t make good tap sounds. I found these which retailed for way more but bc I needed a narrow they were actually cheaper. They fit me so so so good and I haven’t used them yet but seem way better quality. Definitely go up a full size and they’ll fit perfect. Very pleased with these though.

Very nice shoes but run super small. Size up!!
My daughter loves these tap shoes. Sheâs been doing tap for about 2 or 3 years and these are around her 4th pair of tap shoes. I think they are her favorite so far. They look sophisticated, and thatâs starting to be important in her 9 year old world. The sizing on these shoes is way off. They run EXTREMELY small and we had the return and reorder a couple times to get the right fit. I think we ended up at 2 sizes up but I think we could have gone up another 1/2 size as they are also pretty narrow. Otherwise, the quality is very good and they are worth the price.

Good replacement tap shoes
After retiring, I’m finally able to take tap again after about 40 years away and loving it! I typically wear a 6.5 wide, and after reading reviews I got an 8, which, with lightweight cotton socks, fit perfectly. I did have to add a couple additional holes in the straps, but if you don’t have a leather punch yourself, it’s generally easy to sweettalk a cobbler (shoe repair person) into doing it for you.

Dance shoes
I had to size up a half size for my daughter but they work great for dance class!

Love them!
The sound on these shoes is great – especially for hobbyist shoes. They are VERY comfortable. They are a touch small – i went up .5 size and while that “just works”, if i was to order a second pair i would have gone up a full size to allow more room for my toes to fan. In other words, order these like you would a good pair of running sneakers. That said – i truly love them. The are attractive to look at, comfortable, and like i said – they make an excellent sound.

SO happy I got these!
Update 5/25/2016:I wore the original pair several times (and they just got more comfortable with wear) but then my cat peed in one of them, so I had to order another pair! The second pair was just as nice as the first, and now I keep them in the box on a shelf! Freakin’ cats…!!********************************************************************************************************************************************These shoes are fantastic! Nice and sturdy while still being very comfortable. I love the thin layer of (whatever?) between the tap and the shoe itself. It seems to offer a bit of extra shock absorption. The bit of rubber under the ball of the foot is very nice, too. I had a little squeak in my right one at first, but it went away after one class. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 in most shoes, and my feet are a bit narrow. The 9N was perfect for me.A high quality shoe at a fair price. I am pleased!

This is the second pair that I bought for my daughter from this supplier and I couldnât be more pleased with my decision. The dance studio she is in sells them for $130ð«£. The shoes are incredibly comfortable. The cushioned insole provides excellent support. They offer a perfect blend of comfort, sound quality, durability, and style that is hard to hear !We bought size 7 1/2 , her normal shoes size is 6 1/5.

Great study show. Nice material. Sadly I ordered a size 4 as my child wears this. Too small by at least two sizes. Had to return. But nice shoe. My bad. Return was super easy fyi

I went straight to BLOCH website to confirm sizing. I am a 7.5 street shoe, so I got the size 8. I do have narrow feet, so not sure how others may experience these shoes if you have wide feet? But I love these!!!! VERY comfortable, love the style, I had everyone in my tap class admire the style, so cute! Great quality, as BLOCH always is. I definitely recommend! My fellow tap mate spent $175 her tap shoes, which were the lace up. These are such a great deal and a beautiful shoe. I do wear small sockinettes when I wear them myself.
