   Good product
   I do not wear makeup, but I used this. It was heavy or overwhelming and with the instructions it was easy to use. If you are like me and do wear makeup you might have trouble knowing what would highlight your skin tone. I would recommend it.

   Mixed feelings but it works
   This review is for the boom trio with berry. I used it every day for work. Update, after using for several days. The image is after I applied it the first time, with only what comes in the kit. What you get: a fat, waxy stick of moisturizer that appears to be lightly tinted; a fat, waxy stick of medium brown eye shadow that can also be used for highlighting under cheekbones etc. ; a fat, waxy stick of lip and blush color. The image is berry, but the naked rose looks tons better with my coloring. As you can see from the image, if you don’t have a great complexion, you’ll need to add concealer after the moisturizer. That also looked tons better. This makeup is very subtle. I had to do half my face first in order to be able to see the effect. I liked this makeup once it was on, but the execution was definitely a thumbs down. The big fat waxy sticks were awkward and annoying, especially for moisturizer, eye shadow and lipstick. The stiff wax makes it more time-consuming to spread and blend. And it is shiny, like any makeup. I have just been blotting it, but some people may want to apply a light, translucent powder. So that may be another thing you might have to add to make it work. I’ll probably use this makeup, or at least enough to feel I got my money’s worth. But I highly doubt I’ll be buying it again. I do love the convenience factor and the idea of downsizing my makeup into just 3 or 4 items that can be quickly applied. I like the nude rose blush enough to buy again, for blush only. But otherwise, I will be replacing with cream moisturizer, powder eye shadow, and tinted beeswax lip color, with the addition of a concealer and keeping the blush stick.

   Has a learning curve
   In my opinion. They seemed a little awkward at first & now I like them very much. You gotta decide the look you want to go for.I like a bit of concealer on my face. When I use the moisturizer stick first on my brow, cheeks, & nose it keeps the concealer from looking cakey or dry & flat.Then I decide how much cheek color that day. And top under my eyes & upper cheek with the glitter. It adds such a subtle punch. I like glitter on my eyes too. Or you can add your color of choice, a liner, & mascara for bolder.It’s not a made up, strong color look, but I find it healthy & cheerful in appearance for most occasions. That works for me. A pale woman at age 52.

   Came back to alter this review. I decided to try using this trio over my foundation instead of directly on my skin. Really negates the point in buying it. but I really didn’t want to just waste 70 dollars. Over foundation and blended with all my other products, the cheek color tones down and it not a nightmare. I use the shiny purple stuff on my lips instead of the plum raisin cheek stick. Its just a little too sweet tart purple pigmented to use as a highlighter on me it reads pastel purple. I am still trying to make friends with the moisturizer stick. It is just sticky. I tried using it on my feet before bed but the bed sheets stuck to my feet lol I don’t know im trying to make the best of it /// original review- >I am 52, light skinned /almost fair, and have good skin. Thank you mom! I don’t get zits & i’m not oily or dry. But this old lady trio combo is not for me. I put it on this morning at 8am. It is now 11 am. I wanted to wear it a while to see if my mind changed. The moisture stick did not glide across my face, it felt like dragging a block of bees wax across & my under eyes and has remained tacky after applying. I have long grey hair half way down my back and any of my hair that comes forward when i lean down is sticking to it. It’s maddening. When you live in Mississippi you spend an inordinate amount of time trying to NOT be sticky. SO this just hits one of my major bugaboos. The highlighter stick just looks like i have pale purple grease randomly on my face. The cheek and lip color, does not look good on me either – it reeds purple raisin against my skin tone and lips and instead of looking flushed and fresh, it looks like i have blemishes or ruddy skin. My mouth looks like a dark hole to hell, like it’s dirty. Like a booty hole. Think lady elaine from mr rogers. This did not make me look “alive” or vibrant. This vibes on me more like a creepy wooden puppet. It was a huge investment for me and ultimately i learned a very harsh 70 dollar lesson. If it sounds too good to be true.. It is. This might work for you if you have gold undertones and are so dry that your skin will suck up the goey moisture stick. I don’t know. I am strictly a silver girl, i think this is the problem with the color. But i would not even buy the moisture stick. It is 11 am and i am still sticky. You can get the same effect form Vaseline for a tenth of the cost.

    This is an absolute rip off! These tubes are so small and ridiculously expensive. Read the small print. I wished I had and I will be more attentive moving forward from here. How these people can justify their price is beyond me. Don’t buy this product if you value your hard earned money!
