Worth Every Dollar
This is the best thermometer! Easy to use, especially in the middle of the night with a sleeping sick toddler. The app is so useful to track temperatures, medications, and symptoms⦠especially when the entire household is ill and itâs easy to forget when meds were last given. I didnât think the Bluetooth and app were necessary and almost bought the other but Iâm so glad I got this one. So helpful and definitely worth it!

I’ve been wanting this brand for years as my mother in law has the older one and loves it. I read reviews saying the age setting wouldn’t stay set but I didn’t have that problem it worked perfectly fine for me, the app is awesome with reminders for meds and to retake temperatures by person. Overall I absolutely love this thermometer it even warms to normal body temp before it takes the reading to ensure accuracy. I just wish there was a wall mount hole in the case to make it easier to store instead of in a drawer or cabinet. I used gorilla tape on mine but a mounting option would’ve been amazing. If you’re on the fence get it! It’s worth every penny and the covers are a bit expensive but we just use the same one for that day for that person, since usually only one kid is sick at a time in my house lol but I did buy a refill incase of a full house outbreak!

Not shipped in box, also looks used
We purchased this expensive option for the BRAUN ThermoScan while everyone in the house was sick. After reading reviews that did not look true and written in haste-they wound up being very accurate. Instead of shipping this unit in a protective box it arrived in the Amazon plastic envelope that looked like it was sagging on all corners and was dirty. I cut open the plastic shipping envelope to find that the BRAUN Box that the product would normally come with was crushed. I carefully inspected it as I opened and it had been opened before also. As several other reviews stated, the batteries in it were dead (I thought people were just being picky but it did add to the frustration thinking I was buying an expensive / good product by BRAUN) I felt ripped off and my expectations are accurate to think that a health product should arrive in clean, good shape. And I do not write negative reviews but how long will we allow this degradation to what we pay for?

Works Perfectly I guess
Works perfectly for what it is.. I prefer the Mercury Thermometer for accuracy and those are next to impossible to find since they are no longer legal to manufacture. However, I did find one on Ebay made in 1940. This thermometer though has data that can be transferred to your phone. I don’t know how to use it and its just over kill to me, especially when the temperature could be as much as .5 to one full degree off. Hence, why I favor the Mercury.
