This thing is huge!
It’s quite a bit larger than expected, but it definitely fits larger hair tools. I have a dyson airwrap + different heads, a Chi Spin N Curl, and a flat iron in there and they all go in just fine!I think it’s a little too bulky to be a good travel case, since I tend to just stick my tools in my carryon wherever they’ll fit, and this seems like it’ll take up too much real estate. If I were going somewhere with a larger checked suitcase, I would definitely use it.For now, I’m going to store my little-used tools that I’m not quite ready to part ways with. The heat mat will definitely travel with me so that I’m able to wrap it around any hot tools.I saw another review say that you can just flip the mat the other way & attach it to the bag so it doesn’t block the zipper. Technically, that’s true… however it’s larger than the underside of the bag, so the mat gathers at the bottom.I also like that the bag opens very widely so you don’t have to dig through it to find what you’re looking for. The one thing I’d do differently is provide sections in the main compartment so you can feel comfortable that it’s protecting the tools from each other as well. There’s plenty of room!

Big, spacious, durable
This bag is great for when you have to style your hair and then check out of a hotel right after! You can just stick the tools in and not worry about burning/melting whatâs around them. The size is pretty huge. I only have a small curling iron, so this is a little bit of overkill, but I can also put my Revlon styling dryer in it too (which is pretty bulky on its own. So itâs great to be able to protect the bristles.) I also like that it comes with several small compartments inside to store little things like hair ties and clips. The detachable mat is great. I even use the mat alone at home because it protects the counter and stabilizes the tool. The fabric and materials used are all good quality. It feels sturdy and durable.Overall, Iâm happy with the item. I would love for them to make a smaller version of it, so it takes up less space in the luggage.(I also want to mention that the description says âit comes in a beautiful boxâ to be giftable, but mine came in a clear plastic bag. I got it for myself, so this doesnât bother me at all. But something I want to mention because it contradicts with the description.)

Sleek and roomy storage case
This is billed as a travel case for hair tools, and I expect it would perform very well in that role: itâs well-made of good quality materials, well-designed, and includes a detachable heat resistant mat. I tend not to lug my hair tools along when I travel (thatâs why we have French pins, eh?), but I did want a protective case for neat and compact storage of my 75-mm brush dryer and flat iron, and I also needed a heat resistant mat. This case meets my needs perfectly. I was skeptical that it would hold both the dryer and the flat iron with their cords, but it does, with room to spare. The mat snaps on magnetically, so a little alignment accomplishes what would otherwise be a two-handed job. Inside are two open pockets and one zippered pocket for small items; the lining appears to be at least water-resistant, if not waterproof. The zipper seems sturdy and the stitching robust. I donât leave my tools out in between uses, and Iâm tired of untangling their cords from the other things stored in my cabinet. What a pleasure it is to reach in and grab this sleek case! It might or might not be the best for travel, but it meets my needs perfectly.

Good bag with opportunity for improvement~
Is this trash, or treasure? What I like:This bag is long enough to fit my Dyson AirWrap, and deep enough to allow me to just fit in all the original attachments that came with it and still zip it up. Previously I traveled with my precious hair tool tucked into layers of clothing in my suitcase, desperately hoping no tools would be damaged. Now they can be safely bagged together and off we go. I like that the mat buttons down over the top of the zipper, to help ensure it stays closed during travel. You do need to make sure you turn it the right way when you button it down, otherwise it will pucker the fabric together. What I don’t like:This bag has some pockets and a strap inside, and there’s room for improvement here. There are only 2 attachments that would possibly fit in those side pouches out of the original set. You can see by my photo that I have put the round brush and the flyaway tool in those pockets. Everything else is either too long (curl attachments, wide comb) or too wide (firm and soft smoothing brushes). Also, the included mat has nylon on one side, and thin felt on the other side. I’m not sure I trust that mat to put hot tools on either. It’s probably okay for the airstraight or hair dryer, but I wouldn’t put a hot curling iron or flat iron on it to cool. The ad says it’s “premium neoprene” on the bottom of the mat, but it’s most definitely NOT. If it were, that would be much better. Is this trash, or treasure? This is sitting right next to the treasure box. It’s nice enough bag to take my Dyson along in with less worry, and I’m confident it won’t come open during travels. That said, true neoprene on the mat would likely have given it a 5 star review.

Holds all my hair accessories
This ended up being quite a bit larger than I had anticipated. It holds literally everything I need for travel… hair brushes, curling iron, sprays and so on. Keeps everything together in a neat package and easily stows away in a small compartment. There is an additional heat shield that works really well and was the main reason I ordered it.
