Finally, A Camera That Works Flawlessly
Iâve tried two other brands of trail cameras prior to purchasing a Bushnell. Of the other two brands, the first would power up, but would not take photos. The second one worked as far as taking photos, only too many photos of nothing, more than 2000 in less than a month. I paid for a plan to view them on my phone; however, the company took my money, but claimed that I never bought a plan, even after sending them a copy of my receipt. After having disappointing results from two different trail camera manufacturers, I decided to try a Bushnell. I have always had good results using their rifle scopes, so I gave them a try. Finally, I received a trail camera that does what itâs supposed to do and it does it well ! The cellular plan is reasonable, and works well. Thanks for a great product Bushnell !

Bad customer support
Would never buy again. Purchased 2 similar ones 3 years ago worked great. Spent a year out of country. Set them up this year and Purchased this new one thinking they were good. Had nothing but issues after first couple weeks in field. Tried many times to contact customer service with no reply. Read stuff on internet other people have same issue. Called dealer customer service they answer but cannot help, but did confirm the Bushnell support center lacking employees to work apparently. Canceled all 3 cameras will another brand with better pictures and data plan.

DO NOT PURCHASE – ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!
Finally connected to a customer service agentâ¦.we will see if this gets resolved soon. We purchased this camera to monitor a cattle water source. It worked for 2 months and then stopped picking up the signal. We had purchased the yearly subscription for $130 and the subscription was suspended for some reason. We have not been able to use the camera for over 3 months and Bushnell will NOT respond to our requests for information or respond to a customer service request. They don’t even answer the phone so they are on the do not buy list!!

Mostly works, camera trigger seems slow. Did not receive power cable for solar
Just received. Set up was easy enough. Testing in my front window for now. Faster objects are getting missed as camera sensor must be slow – will play with settings. Called support about the missing power cable but they’re on east coast time. Will update rating after cable gets resolved and have a better idea of the camera capacity and how that factors against price point.

Subpar support on a product that stopped working after 3 weeks
The unit seemed easy to setup and had Verizon next work, which was key for where I was going to install it.Got the unit installed 10/6 and I got a few images over the following weeks and then on 10/24 got images of the vehicle arriving but never showed it leaving – which I thought was odd. Then on 11/4, the App said the camera was not responding. I was able to get the unit back to my primary house to troubleshoot, and the camera was working, and SD card was storing everything but it was failing to send images to me. And had not sent images since the 10/24 morning photos.Their App is poor for support so I finally called in they tried troubleshooting but limited results…a few images did transmit but were inconsistent and the idea of installing it on my remote property for it to fail seemed like a bad idea.Sent it in for a warranty on 11/14 ( I wish I could have sent it to Amazon but it was passed the 30 days)Update on 11/21 confirming it was a warranty issuethen silence. no response on when I could expect a new unitSent another email no responsethen finally 12/11 tried calling in and getting long holds and finally that no additional calls would be taken12/12 called early to get in the callback queue and 2 hours later got a call that said the unit was out of stock until mid-January.I had originally bought a much more expensive BarnOwl- better software, a better app, (you could remotely trigger the camera) but had no verizon coverage so did not work at my site.

Terrible product and customer service
Tried 3 sets of different branded batteries (one was a fully charged rechargeable set) and would immediately get a low battery notification each time. After 1 day my battery life went from 40% down to 25%. Manual says batteries should last at a minimum of 10 days/nights at 20 photos per day without the solar panel and it wouldn’t even last 5 with the solar panel (solar panel gets direct sun over half the day). Also won’t let me change sensitivity which is stuck to auto and misses activity half the time while testing it. Have to save changes 3-4 times before it actually accepts the change.Called their technical support at noon central time (technical support says its open until 4pm) and it said the queue was full and there was no option to leave a call back number. The photos the camera does take are decent quality and has a decent array of options. For the price, go find a different camera.
