“Affordable Binoculars with Impressive Clarity for Outdoor Events
I purchased these binoculars for a youth sailing regatta and was pleasantly surprised by how well they performed, especially given their lower price point compared to a more expensive pair my parents had. The clarity is fantastic and adjustable, allowing me to see across the entire lake without any issues. The focus was smooth and precise, which made tracking the boats easy even from a distance. These binoculars definitely exceeded my expectations, and Iâd highly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable but effective option for outdoor events like regattas.

Great buy
If you’re a horse racing addict as we are you will LOVE these binoculars! Even when the horses are on the far side of the track you can easily see them all. We were all very happy with them.

Fairly Good Binoculars.
I bought mine “used – like new” for $28.24. The binoculars seemed a little “off” when I received them. I received everything as I was told I would and the packaging was fine. It did appear “like new” and there were no scratches on the lenses. However, the big parts of the binoculars were misaligned. I could not see well out of them or get them in focus at all. I thought maybe it was my vision. Upon re-examining the product, I realized that the binocular parts were not “screwed” in correctly and they were quite crooked. I work on unscrewing them and trying to screw them in correctly and then it worked better. There is a “shaky” factor and it is hard to focus in on things. Even with a steady hand, things still “shake” a little. But for the price, it seems pretty reasonable. It does enlarge subjects, but not in extreme detail. I could read signs from distances. It is rather large to put into a backpack comfortably. There are these covers that go over each lens (a total of 4 = 2 small and 2 bigger), but they come off easily and I am not sure whether I would even use them realistically. I guess it would be good for storing, but you wouldn’t be able to have this hanging around your neck with these covers on. There is a fair amount of light that goes in and I did enjoy looking through these binoculars. I tried to look at stars at night and it was okay. I would buy these again if the price is right.

Very good, moderately priced
We bought these for casual use to replace some very old binoculars that had been left in the rain. They are light weight and the focus adjustment is very easy to use. Good price for our purpose. Delivered earlier than promised

Great View at a Great Price
For the low price I was expecting low budget binoculars, but was pleasantly surprised at the clarity and separate eye focus ease. I have other lower powered binoculars that do not provide this level of clarity. The others are handy for their compactness. This 10×50 is not a compact unit, however they provide a wider view letting in lots of light. It would have been nicer if they came with an impact resistant carrying case, instead of the soft case. That probably could have been added for only a couple bucks more.Still, for the price, clarity and quality I am happy with my purchase.

Perfect for the casual observer. Insta focus is great.
I debated long and hard about 12×50 vs 10×50. The first number is magnification, 12 seems better right?BUT – reviews said that 12 times is much more difficult to prevent ‘shake” (it’s difficult to be that steady), and 10 times zoon is about the edge of what most people can do.Also – hoe far are you trying to see?I’m using these pretty much only from inside my house, which overlooks a lake about 1/2 mile to other shore. These are powerful enough for that. The 50 is the size of the lens that allows the light in – bigger means a brighter image, but comes at the cost of weight. I’m not carrying these around, so the weight isn’t an issue. They’re not super heavy, but I wouldn’t want to carry them around all day. Maybe if I went on a hike with a backpack I’d bring them, but I wouldn’t be walking with them hanging around my neck. The insta focus is great. Very easy to use and FAST.The only downside is that I wish the lens covers / caps were connected together, they’re too easy to misplace. Still giving it 5 stars though – this is a minor issue.Summary : Great binoculars for a beginner / casual user. Seem sturdy. Easy to use. Not too heavy,

good quality for good price
I bought the Celestron 15-30 zoom field glasses (~$125) to complement a wide field of view binocular which has since disappeared. The evaluations of the Celestron were correct that it was great for distance viewing but the very heavy which got old quickly. I got these to complement those and could not believe the price for the quality. Key features are the wide field of view and fast / easy focusing. It has the quality I expected for something with a brand name like Bushnell, but it clearly doesn’t have the performance of a ~$2-300 marine binocular or a high end birding binocular. And I still haven’t decided if the focus point of the 2 imaging systems remains constant with distance meaning you have to do a diopter correction at each distance, or if I am demanding too much out of an intermediate grade binocular, or if my eyes are just screwed up. But $40 is a pretty low price for this much high tech. And I read someone complain about the case. The case that came with this (versus the one I bought years ago) is an order of magnitude better. Not the highest quality but pretty good for a case included effectively for free.
