This is such a pretty little toaster. Itâs all black with the copper bottom and legs. Looks wonderful sitting on my counter and it has a very nice toasting, defrosting and bagel option. It has the ability for quick toast option also. Love it

This was exactly what I was looking for. Not only does it work well it’s so attractive on my kitchen counter. I did some research and with all the positive reviews I chose this model. I have to say I am extremely pleased! Definitely good quality, toast well and I like all the various settings. The wide, long slots are great for bagels and other bakery breads. The express finish is a great function when you are in a hurry. It also has a reheat and frozen selection which is an added bonus. It cost a bit more but it’s entirely worth it.

A solidly made and attractive toaster
It’s difficult to find a toaster that isn’t plastic these days, and this Cafe model is made of what feels like sturdy metal. The browning knob and push-buttons are plastic, which is fine. But the lever you push down on to toast is also a lightweight plastic covered in what feels like foil paint. It looks fine from most distances, but will certainly appear cheap if the paint starts to flake off. I do like that this model has push buttons and a knob rather than a digital display (less to break), and overall it’s a very nice looking toaster that toasts as well as any of them. I purchased a similar-looking toaster (from Drew Barrymore’s “Beautiful” line) earlier this year for a little less than half the price of this one, but it felt like it would flip over whenever I pushed down on the lever. Prior to that, I had a very solid, 4-slice Cuisinart one that lasted about a decade.

It’s not worth the money
I thought this item looked cute, and that’s why I bought it. Well, I have had nothing, but issues with it. I bought it just 3.5 months ago and now it won’t even work. Every time I push it down- it just pops back up. I have tried different outlets and it’s just garbage. I messaged Cafe directly to get some help and they responded with: Our team is able to assist with basic troubleshooting, product information, and normal operation of an appliance.Your unit is considered a return to vender unit as there are no parts or service available to fix the unit. And my product from Amazon expired on 08/25 (three weeks ago). The item is junk. Save your money and put it into something that works.

I Like
I don’t ask much from a toaster. For many years, I’ve used a vintage Dualite classic, but it was showing showing signs of needing an element, and I know from experience the perils of trying to get the right part. And it never toasted both sides evenly.It does this because the sides of the slot move in toward the middle when you depress it, holding the slice in the exact middle. Not a high speed toaster for the impatient.This one does. The toast it produces is just about perfect. Good range of color control. Easy to use. Big enough slot to accommodate the wide slices of more upscale bread. Very nice looking, too, although a bit in your face.It’s a bit easy to bump the color control on the front, as it moves very easily, so watch that.

Bought this toaster to match our GE Cafe induction stove. Big mistake. The description says “stainless steel”; what it doesn’t say is that the copper is painted plastic. Not only is it plastic, the central dial is flimsy. Nothing like the GE product we purchased or even like the Breville toaster we were going to replace. I’ve been a frequent Amazon customer for years, and this is my first return.

Yes it is expensive one! But for matching the other GE Cafe appliances, this is must to have!Wait for it to go on sale, I bought it half of the original price! Yes, it is working great.The slots are not long enough though as you could imagine!
