Good hammock
I used a piece of paracord (for now) as the ridgeline. They send a piece of stretchy cord, that is not useful, to use as ridgeline. There are little loops inside the corner gathered edges of the hammock to tie the ridgeline to. Took me a few moments to find the loops, I actually found them as I was about to cut holes into the netting to make my own ridgeline (I’ll probably have to do that when the loops eventually break but we’ll see).The hammock worked well. It is a few feet shorter than my 11 ft hammock. Since I am a side sleeper who tends to curl up, this hammock seems fine for me. Someone who needs to stretch out may have issues.I didn’t have problems with calf ridge which is something I deal with in my longer hammock.The netting is an odd texture. Almost scratchy but yet not. I don’t think the netting will last long without ripping but time will tell. As with any other net, it will be easy to sew.The hammock is a nice size from side to side. I don’t mind the strong sewn line where the two colored pieces of cloth meet.

Comfortable, me and my boyfriend fit perfect. Took it on week long hiking trip and slept in it every night…..love it. And the bag is a plus. Just hang it on my backpack. Super light

The net doesn’t stay erect
The photo is misleading about the bug net in that there is no way for it to stay off your face. Using the two cords provided and pulling the sides outward/downward, does nothing for the bug net. The material is just like my Eno, but the straps aren’t as nice. Although they’re longer, they have less loops for adjustability. It was was easy to set up as any hammock and for what I payed, I’m not upset. It just isn’t what I’m looking for.

I am 190 Lb and this thing holds up just fine with me and my wife in it. Must have if you like camping or hiking. Super compact and durable. Quick setup and the colors are nice too.

This is excellent for camping and lounging around in a park but I had a few issues. I really don’t like anything nylon to lay on, I find it uncomfortable and it never gets warm so I probably will invest in a cloth one as well. This being said, the nylon allows it to dry uber quick if it gets wet.I also didn’t find it so easy to put up. I sort of looked at the way other people had theirs up in the park and there were so many different variations of how they were tied around the tree but nonetheless, I managed. It is a hammock and I love hammocks so overall, it is great to relax in but for extreme comfort in terms of material.. yeah something softer maybe..Love the colour though. Also love that it is so compact, literally you can carry it in your purse to the park which I do. 🙂
