Your friendly Amazon vampire, reporting. Received this a little while ago, 2 days after ordering. Hustled it to the outdoor table in the backyard, unpacked.No odor. Assembled it quickly. No horns or spurs, good welds. Everything true. One rubber baby cradle bumper came off, a little Elmers and good to go.I can see how using an adjustable wrench would be frustrating. I used a 1/2″ ratchet wrench–and a #6 hex socket, if you don’t have one the provided hex key is fine. The bolts are chinesium so don’t risk revealing your true identity tightening the nuts. Just snug. See three threads on the 4 long bolts, small bolts, flush.All the parts were there, 2 extra washers. A good owners manual was provided with clear assembly instructions, though even a caveman should be able to figure this one out. This is a good, home-quality rack. I have all CAP solid dumbbells, metal, 8-25 lbs. Some self-adhesive 2″ wrap around the handle helps. I have no problems adding and removing them from the rack with 2, 3 talons. Purpose and aesthetics!!!!
I picked this up during Amazon prime day and Iâm super glad that I did.Itâs constructed of solid materials, is stable, was easy to put together, and is compatible with different types of weights.I also love the fact that they offered different colors so you could match the aesthetic of the room that itâs sitting in.I was really tired of my weights just being all over the place so this is the perfect solution that looks good, keeps things organized, and doesnât take up a ridiculous amount of space.My rating system breakdown:1 Star = Gross misrepresentation of product, made of inferior materials, or does not perform the stated function2 Stars = Needs improvement: Doesnât work consistently or is manufactured with low-level materials3 Stars = It works as stated, but I am not impressed with the craftsmanship or the overall aesthetics4 Stars = Meets expectations5 Stars = Exceeds expectations and would be worth a splurge

Just what I needed to get those weights off the floor. Great space saver. Heavy gauge steel, nice powder coating. Easy assembly with only a 1/2″ wrench needed. Took me 15 minutes, tops.I would highly recommend this item.

Sturdy, though assembly was confusing
It was exactly what I needed to hold all of my dumbbells. The heaviest dumbbells I have are 20 lbs each and sit at the bottom.Assembly was easy enough. I got a little confused, though, because the bottom did not sit flush with the two slanting pieces. I thought I got defective pieces until I realized they are going to leave a space when connected.
