works great!
i got this as a replacement for a machine we had that was just to small. i grabbed this one on black Friday sale so it was a fantastic deal but id definitely buy with discounts. you can set a timer for it to brew every morning on its own and its perfect for my husband who leave the house very early. the only thing that was surprising that i did see specified online was that there is whole in the back of the machine that lets out water if you fill the container with more than 12 cups, so be very carful not to make an absolute mess like i did lol.

Great, compact coffee maker!
This little coffee maker has really saved the morning for me. When my old one failed, it was hard to find another that used No. 4 cone filters. I prefer the flavor of cone-dripped coffee, and this well-sized machine makes a pot much faster than my old one, while taking up less space. It has a really great carafe with an excellent spout for pouring, and even with the “BOLD” switch turned on, delivers fast results. I tried out programming a start time and it was perfect. I’m very happy with this coffee-maker, especially since it cost me a lot less than I was expecting to have to pay.

It is cracking
Ordered on 2/14/23 and today is 3/9/23, so less than a month and plastic parts are cracking and breaking on the base. Photos attached. Itâs not leaking, easy to program, not expensive but at this rate itâs not gonna last long. Not sure what to do about it, is it really obvious? Itâs brand new, and iâm nuts without my coffee.

Best mid priced coffeemaker
For years we’ve gone with brandname Mr. Coffee. Each upgrade had its own flaw, but every carafe dribbled and the baskets overflowed leaving us with grounds in the cup.The Chefman uses a cone filter and has a bigger spray/water head. It has a delay set, and time to clean indicator. No more overflow or grounds in the cup. We’ve only had this a month but just love this coffeemaker!UPDATE 08/26/24: We started using on June 5, 2024 and today we woke up to no coffee! Removed power cord, restarted but will not brew. Will contact manufacturer and update further. Removing 1 star.UPDATE 09/13/24: Adding back 1 star for great customer service. Make sure you submit your warranty upon purchase. I contacted customer service who requested a video of the problem, verification of address and submitting a photo of cut power cord on non-working unit. In return, we received a replacement at no charge! Hoping this one lasts longer.ð

Unable to find a replacement carafe and the company is not responsive
This coffee pot was a pretty useful item. It did its job. the programmable brew worked great. I accidentally broke the glass carafe and didn’t think much about it because most of the time, they are easily replaceable. I searched all over Amazon, in the user manual (no item numbers anywhere), on the chefman website (they do not even have regular coffee pots listed on there), on Google itself. There does not appear to be any replacements that I could find to purchase. Now it seems like a waste of 40$ and I have to purchase a new coffee pot – this time a brand that I know has easily available carafes for when life happens and something breaks.

Easy to work with
Was an easy replacement for our coffee pot. Easy to work with., fit into our perfect spot that we had set aside. Automatically shut off and two hours without fail and let us know when itâs time to clean it , which is in about a month.Takes about a half hour for cleaning. Not a big deal and easy to do. . I would highly recommend this coffee potâ¦. Shipping was fast. . Thank you.Update would not recommend this project, Took a dump already, Left us on a weekend with no coffee, Company coming and we have absolutely no coffee to offer them. Frustrating!

No sound when it shuts off
Yes itâs easy to clean. I use the paper filers instead of the plastic one. I feel the hot plate does not keep the coffee hot enough, and after 2-hours when it shuts down the machine does not make any noise or give you any signal in case you want to keep it on. Which my other machine did. The coffee machine is nice but not great. Iâm not sending it back because I should of read more about it.

This is the second one Iâve bought and I really like this coffee pot. I just wish I could get in the habit of setting it up at night so I wake up to fresh coffee. At least I can do that if I want.
