Great bag at the price
Warm and comfortable. Coleman considered many aspects in the design of this bag.The zipper is designed to not bind with the fabric – it has comfortable fabric aroundthe head and neck – it feels sturdy, warm and comfortable – and don’t miss the hiddenvelcro pouch just inside the upper opening where you can store keys, wallet, cell hone,or other important property.Because this is made with synthetic material, it probably weighs more and may not packdown to as small as a down bag would, but it still feels light and compresses to a reasonablesize. See the attached photo of the bag repacked using the ‘stuffing’ method. Note that Iwas not able to zip up the packing zipper on the storage bag and I don’t know if the bagwill compress enough to allow that after it has been unpacked. It seems that the zippermay be for shelf presentation and not intended for repacking, in my novice opinion.

Performs much better than expected. And the liner isn’t all that bad either
I bought this for my 9 year old son to use when he goes to friend’s houses for sleepovers. For that purpose this sleeping bag works perfectly. It’s a nice warm weather sleeping bag that provides enough warmth at night without causing sweating issues.Pros:1. Quite durable. So far this sleeping bag has survived 5 sleepovers with a bunch of rowdy 9 and 10-year old boys. The outside nylon lining feels really thin, but so far it has held up very well without any scratches or tears. Anything that can survive the destructive force of my son and his friends is impressive.2. The zipper truly does not bind up or get caught on the fabric when you’re zipping it up. This is pure magic.3. Built in ties and loops to help roll it up and keep it rolled up are nice, and works quite well. Even my 9-year old can manage it.Cons:1. The synthetic polyester liner is soft, but I can also see how it can be annoying when it catches on rough skin. I have rough hands, but it’s not that uncomfortable. I can see how this may be an issue if you have a bad case of psoriasis or really really dry skin, but it didn’t bother me all that much when I got in the bag to try it out.2. It really is difficult to put it back in the nylon sack the bag came in, but not impossible.Overall, for the price you pay, this is a great bargain, and has held up much better than I thought it would. The color is also a nice dusky sky blue and quite pleasing to look at.

For the price they are a fine bag
By no means are these sleeping bags high quality light weight technical gear, but they almost exactly what I wanted. As others mentioned the liner material is strange at best. It is soft and rough all at the same time. I typically dont like microfiber things and that is still the case with these bags. I would prefer a light weight fleece or flannel or really anything other than this. I wanted to go camping out of the blue and couldn’t find 3 sleeping bags out of the 6 I have. Clearly I loaned them out and forgot but I was in a quick need and Amazon prime to the rescue. I sleep hot and wanted something light weight. So when they say 40 degree bag it is more like 30 degree bag for me and a 50 degree bag for my wife. We’ve camped 5 nights with these all in the mid-iso 50s at night with the tent completely open for airflow. As a bag it was too hot for me, but fine as a blanket. I actually like the interior material a lot better too as a blanket. For the price you cant beat Colman products. The stuff sacks suck and I ended up using other ones I have to make my life easier. I can roll a sleeping bag that is tight AF but I cant get these to go back in the factory sack and zipped up again. Material is thin on the sacks anyway so I don’t downgrade it at all. If I paid a ton of money for it then my opinion might change. Overall good value if you have reasonable expectations.*Update – Used these bags two more nights with temps in the low 40’s and the tent closed on the sides but still open at the top and I was fine right until early morning when my bare shoulders got a little cold. Able to snuggle it up around me and good to go. My wife needed a blanket for a while for added comfort, but she was not cold. I dont think I could use this bag alone down to 30 like I said in my initial review without an additional blanket. That being said I will use it down to freezing with either my down blanket and/or wool military blanket without question. But any colder than that I’m busting out the better gear. Low 40’s was my wife’s limit I think. She was in light weight PJ’s and socks and I was in nada so still warmth to be found in what you wear to bed. I would add .25 of a star if I could to the review for it being usable at 40 degrees for my wife. Well done Colman at a cheap price.

Warm and comfy!
This was a gift for a nephew. Heâs been sleeping in it since it arrived. He reports that it has plenty of room, keeps him warm all night, and is so comfortable he canât wait to try it outside.

Great sleeping bag
Great value for a comfy sleeping bag. This is actually better than those I may say ordinary/regular sleeping bags I’ve seen. Material exceeds my expectation and you won’t go wrong with this. Great value for this item

Love it as a comforter!
It unzips flat, it’s the size of a full bed exactly, it’s not too warm (have a 30 degree flannel lined one for winter), it’s soft on the inside, ripstop nylon on the outside, made for the outdoors, easy to wash, made better than any comforter I’ve ever seen. Bed cover of choice for this carhartt girl. ð

Es como lo describen, mismo color y todo, es cómodo y amplio para un adulto, calienta lo suficiente para un clima templado, difÃcil de volver a meter a la bolsa tal cual, pero eso es con todos los sleeping que conozco

My wife and I got these to go camping this year. Even though we went in the summer, it got down to around 7-8 degrees celsius at night; gotta love the wet coast! Even with the dampness of the rain, we were warm and dry in these sleeping bags. Good price as well.I would say that there are couple things to watch out for in these sleeping bags: one is that although it’s not hard, if you want it to pack down nicely when you roll them up, that you have to pay attention. The other is that the material on the inside, while it feels fine, can get caught on the rough skin of your foot. I imagine that this might pill up sooner rather than later because of this.Other than those, these are great and priced well. We’re hoping to get many seasons out of them!

Feels a bit warmer than the rating its given. Also the shiny side is squeaky which is a pain. To be honest Iâve gone back to the older light sleeping bag I had that I was hoping this one would replace.
