   Excellent boot especially for the price. Pics are after 3.5 years of daily wear
   Purchased in May 2021 for a trip to Yosemite. They broke in very easily and were nice to hike in. These became my work boots after that trip and have served me faithfully for two years spending 90% of the time outside in New England elements as an outdoor cameraman. Snow, rain, summer heat.My trusty current pair of 3.5 years are starting to peel. I cross shopped probably 9-10 different pairs of boots across all price ranges. $90 columbias up to $200+ danners. None matched the comfort, utility, and feather like weight of these boots. One thing that’s nice about these is my sole is closer to the ground and not on a platform. My gate feels more natural that way and no other pair I tried matched it. I just decided forget it, I’m buying another pair because these worked so good for me and only cost $65!! I think I only had to buy a new pair of laces for what, $3?I’m keeping my current pair as backups. Buying the new pair is just getting ahead on things.Also yea, I wrote this in my car. What’s it to you?

   Excellent Hiking Shoes with Great Support!
   These Crestwood waterproof hiking shoes are fantastic! They look great and fit perfectly. Super comfortable for walking, especially on long and steep hikes, saving my feet from straining. The thick sole provides excellent protection from uneven surfaces, and the heel guard prevents ankle twists, which is a big plus.The only downside is that they’re not ideal for driving long distances, so I switch to a different pair before driving back. Overall, these are amazing for hiking and well worth it for the comfort and protection they provide!

   Quality boot.
   This is a quality boot for light hiking. My only issue is I ordered my normal size and these are a bit tight. They have loosened up a bit after I put some miles on them. If I ordered them again I would go a size larger though. Otherwise they are comfortable and durable so far.

   All you need to know is yes!
   I purchased these boots back in 2002.Have hiked all over North Carolina all over South Florida fishing hunting. I mow the grass in these boots.I’ve had them soaking wet. I’ve had them covered in mud. One was even run over by a four wheeler.They are still just as comfortable now as they were if not more comfortable, they are durable and they are waterproof.The only thing I changed is, I covered mine with polyurethane, boot spray just for extra water security.Don’t hesitate definitely purchase these boots. It’s been many years and they’re still going strong.

   Underrated hiking boot
   Over the summer, I bought a pair of the Columbia Crestwood shoes (not the boots). I enjoyed the fit, the comfort and it seemed to be built well. The only bad thing is that I rolled my ankle on a rock and I was pretty much done with them for serious hiking. I spent almost $200 on another pair of higher end boots. They provided the ankle support but just didn’t have that comfort I got with the Crestwood. So, I went with the Crestwood boot. The boot is light and supportive in the ankle. It feels less like a hiking boot and more like a heavier sneaker. I put a five mile hike on the boots a day or two after I got them and they felt like they were already broken in. They seem to be a great boot for day hiking. My opinion so far is that they are a decent all around hiking boot, one that you could wear while hiking a trail or just wearing around the house on a weekend. My only complaint is that they are more “water resistant” than “water proof”. They kept my feet dry for the most part but a stream crossing got the insides a little wet (as to be expected on boots in this price range). Shoe size is a hair smaller than my other pairs but not small enough for me to need a size up. Again, if this is going to be a light hiking boot along with a weekend shoe, the size should be fine. Great pair of boots for this price range!

   My holy grail shoes!
   With regards to this review, please take note that I suffer with severe almost debilitating, chronic foot pain due to spinal problems, so needless to say, I’m not doing any heavy cross-country hiking or anything like that. I use these shoes for walking/working my dogs up in the foothills in the surrounding area where I live and spend most of my time either on a gravel road, or the hiking trails, but keep in mind that these are usually short walks by comparison to others here on Amazon (maybe 30 min. to an hour)I’ve been searching in vain for a comfortable pair of shoes to walk my dogs in. All of the shoes I have tried either had soles that were too hard with no give to them or too thin and soft like I was almost walking barefoot, some had too much rise in the heel, throwing my balance off, and of course, some were just too expensive, but these are awesome as far as I’m concerned! Just the right amount of everything I personally have been looking for. They seem to have great balance between the toe and heel which distributes my weight across my entire foot like a good shoe should.I ordered a half size up from my regular shoe size, as suggested by many reviewers here on Amazon (I normally wear an 8.5 and I ordered a pair of 9.0 regulars).At first impression, I thought they were a little bit too tight around the balls of my feet and that the insoles were a little bit hard, but then I took my dogs up for a walk and after about five minutes in these shoes I thought to myself “I have found the holy Grail” lol. They were extraordinarily comfortable IMO.I didn’t feel the rocks jabbing into my feet, but could still feel the ground and changes terrain, they seem to have a nice “springyness” or “bounce” to them, I loved the ankle support, there was no slipping in the heel and my feet felt great for once! I was only up there about half an hour, maybe 45 minutes but as of this point, I am very happy with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone. Having said that, please don’t take my word for it, read a few more reviews and maybe try a pair on before you buy.As for me? I’m one happy and satisfied customer at this point, and I will update this review if anything changes.One final note, I do feel like I have plenty of wiggle room in the toe area, but I also like my shoes to fit fairly snug. If you like your shoes to have a little bit more toe room, I would suggest ordering them in the wide option and definitely go at least a half size up from your normal size regardless of the amount of toe room you like because they do run small as pointed out by many other reviewers. I hope this helps anyone that might be suffering with the same type of foot pain as I do and good luck in your quest to find your Holy Grail shoes.

Getestet beim täglichen Gassi gehen auf knöchelhoher, nasser Wiese wo mir bei anderen Schuhen das Wasser im Schuh steht.Zudem sehr guter und bequemer Sitz und halt, selbst bei meinen deformierten Plattfüssen 🤣🤣🤣Klare Kaufenpfehlung.Sollte sich bei der Langzeitqualität etwas tun, werde ich meine Bewertung überarbeiten.
