   Great light Weight shoes! Very comfortable. My fiance loves them.
   These are excellent quality boots. They were comfortable right out of the box. He wears them every day. They wear well. No noticeable scuffs or scrapes on the leather. They are waterproof and have omni-grip for hiking. All terrain boots for many purposes! They run true to size. Very lightweight and versatile. The price was excellent! Don’t hesitate they are definitely worth it!

   Surprisingly light
   So up front I am used to wearing military boots so I base my review that way, these boots were light and comfortable made of pretty durable material and the sole was both resistant to chemicals and taller than I thought it would be. I enjoy the color which like stated is close to that of a shark. The laces are round and shorter that I would have thought. if you normally wrap your laces around the shoe these are not long enough. Overall these are great for the price and I would buy them again.

   Here’s what you’re thinking looking at this boot – you need a boot that can withstand snow and rain without getting moisture in, rugged enough for moderate outdoor activities like hiking, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing, nice enough looking that they don’t look like work boots indoors (though rugged enough to be work boots), breathable enough to not make your feet stink, but all while not breaking the bank, and without making you look like an easel fell on your footwear.These are THE boots for you, and the fact that they have a wide size is a MUST for people who feel cramped with other shoes. I had Salomon’s (12) for a year before they stopped fitting me, so I upgraded to these with a wide boot (12w), and they are fantastic. My feet can swell all they want during 5 mile hikes and these won’t compress or constrain them at all. The grip is great for icy terrain, and they work great with microspikes. The only time I would choose a different boot is if I were going out hiking in the negatives, I might choose a warmer lined boot, or if I needed a different style (higher snow boot), as the leather gets very cold, but warms up quickly. I would buy these again, and would recommend them to anyone with wide feet, as they are a game changer for me.

   Well built.
   This boot is both stylish, rugged, and light-weight. They are comfortable and will hold up in long hikes. The Soles provide great traction and help with balance.

   I purchased these based on them being a very highly rated consumer hiking boot.Pro’s – Comfortable, nice looking, waterproof/resistant, good grip, easy laces for tightening and holding tied, light weight mid hiking boot/shoe.Comfortable out of the box to wear as everyday boot for fall/spring/winter. Fit is true to size, (my feet are not wide). Summer would be great for hiking, but maybe a bit too warm for “regular/non-hiking” use.Break in is needed with any new hiking shoe, while these are great out of the box, I expect them to be even better once broke in. – been wearing these for about 1 hour/day for about week and they feel even better already.Cons – $$ at regular price – I waited for a deal. Uhmm, no complaints thus far, albeit I’ve only been wearing them for casual use, no hiking yet.Will update with any issues & after full break in.

    Very comfortable hiking boot. I wore these in my house for 2 hours to see if there was any pinch points, they’re weren’t. I’ve been on four hikes already with no problems. I ordered 1 size larger and they fit perfectly. Soles offer great traction. Appear to be very well made. I bought these as I had bought another pair of Columbia winter hiking boots and were very pleased with them.
