Overall, Gravy!
Updating again because I’m awesome :-)-Well obviously I love these, but even to this day they look new. No busted seams, cracks or anything. I’ve upgraded my laces to elastic boot laces so I can easily slide these on without having to tie any laces, for those moments while you’re camping and in the middle of the night when you gotta get up and go outside. Easy least, I love them.UPDATE#2!!!- Okay yâall so just for fun iâm giving you another update on these beauties. this summer i was a Rec Leader at an outdoor nature-centric Summer Camp. The park is a protected natural preserve and everyday i was walking at least 2 miles a day through wet grass, muddy slippery rocky trails, heavy rain, dirt/dust, climbing in & out of sinkholes of limestone rock, getting splashed on by kids in the pool, etc. i wore these EVERYDAY this summer because i was not about to ruin my sneakers for the job, summer is rainy season here and it gets SO HOT so i knew it just made sense to wear these. They help up fantastic. They still look new- nothing is loose or cracked whatsoever. theyâre nice and tight and crisp, albeit a little dirty :)) just wanted to let you know how they held up with everyday wear and tear bc i definitely tested them this summer. and they remain strong :). Iâm going to Tennessee in a few weeks and these will again be the only shoes i bring 🙂 you just canât go wrong. these are my go-to shoes for moments where regular sneakers just wonât cut it. still 1000% recommend. love these so muchUPDATE!- so Iâve come and gone to Iceland with these babies as my ONLY shoes for the trip- a week full of hiking, exploring and campervan-ing. They did not disappoint! The slight concern on my first post was definitely my own problem, lacing them all the way or halfway never gave me any tongue-chafing again. I LOVE the lace hooks from the ankle up- it made taking the shoes off and on in airports a total breeze. I was in freezing temps, wore with some cheap wool socks, my feet were always warm. Lightweight you can run with no problems but sturdy to where you still feel supported. It rained many times while I wore them, I even had to step into a little river to cross and continue a hiking trail- the boots were submerged to where the icy water was halfway up foot level but my feet were completely dry, (I even stayed there a few extra seconds to test the shoeâs power) the outside of the shoe barely looked wet and dried shortly after that as if it never happened. Wonderful shoes- again for the price you just canât beat them. Would highly recommend and purchase again in a heartbeat!ORIGINAL- These are so nice! I needed a pair of waterproof hiking boots for my upcoming Iceland trip in October, and boy am i impressed.Right off the bat they are super comfy and sturdy but still lightweight- (nothing like my Dr. marten boots i own that are stylish, but feel like bricks.) great grip on the bottoms, nice height too- not too tall where they chafe your ankles but not too low where they still support your ankles. Love the colors too- the red laces add a nice touch of color and the camel color is beautiful. Very well made, great quality, suede is nice and soft, no loose stitching or anything like that-these look built to last.So far ive only worn them out once to a local nature trail through the woods, and it rained a bit while i was out. (usually i wear sneakers on that trail and wobble over the roots and rocks)- but with these, i felt so secure as i walked, they were very comfortable to wear, and even after the mud and rain- They looked new straight of of the box. I’m guessing its the way its designed, but bottom of the boot did a really good job at keeping the debris Under the shoe rather than All Over it.My only complaint, and this could by my own issue and not the shoe’s, is that while i wore them, i laced them up all the way. I don’t know if this is how you’re supposed to wear these, because the lace hoops really only come up to the top of your ankle, where your foot bends- and above that, there arent holes fr the laces but hooks that you can use to close up the boot more securely i’m guessing.- But when i did this, i did feel some discomfort on one of my feet from the inner ankle area where the laces felt too tight and were making the tongue of the boot kinda rub and press on my foot/ankle. It wasn’t unbearable, but uncomfortable. Not knocking any points off the boot though, cause i can just adjust the way i lace them and maybe i wont have that issue anymore.Overall, for the price and quality, these boots are tough to beat in my opinion. They get the job done, and they seem like they will last a long time. Im happy with my purchase. I will come back and let you guys know my experience with these in Iceland!

Made well
I really like the style and I need extra support because of nerve damage in my foot, I normally wear a 7.5, but I probably should have gotten the wide, they’re a little tight for my big toe, can’t have a lot of pressure on them. So I ordered the 7.5 wide, and I’m sure they will work much better. The length was perfect, so I just need a little wider. I like the bottom are skid proof so I don’t have to worry about slipping. Worth the money.Update: I ordered a 7.5 wide, and they fit perfectly, very comfortable and well made. I have a bad right foot so I have to be careful what I buy. These will be perfect especially for ankle support. Thankfully they came in widespread, because I think a size 8 would be to long, and the arch wouldn’t be where I need it.

3rd Time WAS a Charm! Only took 5 tries to find Prince Charming’s Boot!
I read the reviews wherever I could find them. I had become very confused over the sizing. I have a hard enough time getting the right size without this much of a difference thrown at me too!I was in love @first glance, beautiful dark gray with aqua strings. Ordered size 7 as suggested though I wear a size 6.5 or 6. Feet measures a size 5-5.5, L=8.5″ R=8.7″. There lies the rub, right foot doesn’t fit sizes same as left one by a fraction so hit or miss. Also, remember, as you age, your feet spread causing sizing up like me to 6.5 in shoes, 7 usually in boots but style can put you back to regular size if they are rounded toe box or squared box mostly in western styles. Shoes strings are very helpful as they can be adjusted to make more room, not more length. Mules are easier to get by smaller sized if you don’t have toes that won’t go entire way down, heel hangs off, usually good bet as mostly open. Overall best choice in any type of foot covering is “Leather”, your friend for stretching if little small as they will mold to feet, put in a cushion before wearing though. Zippers are the bomb for higher topped boots/shoes especially with fat feet, high instep, opens the slimmer top for feet to get to sole.Back to the size sessions; First was great price on 7’s, looked order back up and saw where I had ordered from the warehouse! Wow, what a great mistake… for my sis! Really, check it out. What others say about buying “like new”, warehouse, etc., if you don’t check it out, you are making HUGE mistake. I would never had known if not curious then found sticker where stated, “checked by warehouse”. Besides, if you don’t like what you receive, give them to your sis for Christmas! If that’s not acceptable, check returns, usually can send back w/30 days from Amazon, look at rules though. Truly, you need to check the other items like ones we sometimes just look at and Nope, return. Perfect shape, they get sold cheaper w/new ones @less cost.Wanted those boots but those 7’s were too great price, that’s why sis got them and was gaga over them. So, I ordered size 6, suggested 6.5, too bad, too big but kept just in case…. the size 5’s I was ordering now, 3rd try, didn’t fit even though suggested I wear a 6 now! Well the 5’s came and went, that fraction of inch on R foot, felt fine, but only for few minutes, just fraction too small in toes based on R foot!Last and 4th time! Wow! That tells you how badly I wanted these shoes, they just checked off too many boxes to let them go without a good fight. The 5.5’s I was sure would fit in a WIDE, had been costly, at over $100 if remember correctly. Figures! Only size left & at most expensive price! Waited a day later, 5.5W’s & more sizes had come in, ordered them up and got them in about a day. When I saw them, crossed fingers as I thought they were a yes. I have them on now, they feel like they should have been on my feet the whole time! So, the size 5.5W is my size w/just enough room for thick socks or thinner ones. I live in Florida, though kids live in Denver & Boise & France. These will work out fine for all places as it is warm today here & fit & feel great!Updated: 12/1/23, getting later, quicker! After size 7, 6, 5, 5.5W and guess what? Another size 6 was ordered at new price 1/2 of all others, came few days later. Probably wondering what was wrong w/1st size 6’s? Nothing, just needed to make sure of correct size due to computer blindness, too much shopping. I was getting goofy and thought perhaps all in my head, being too careful. What actually happened was I realized when I put those 5’s on, I’d be needing really thick, wool socks and they would be more conducive & warmer to wear in a size 6!!!! Ran to Ross, bought thick wool socks, 2 pairs, eh cheap try. I have finally found my problem, I am a Floridian going to frozen U.S. This past Thursday it was really cold here and even wearing great boots w/socks feet were freezing in few minutes on way to HOA meeting! Thank goodness I used my “prior northern snow experience” to kick me in head, loosen up screws and I now firmly believe that I had probably needed to size down one size smaller than the size 7 suggested to the size 6 (I got twice!) or try a wide in next small size if all left. I know I really needed the room, which these boots have plenty of and are warm whereas my Frye’s were made for Florida & no thick socks! The only dilemma w/sizing is the extra room throughout/around entire toe bed & instep w/room to spare, it’s the length to think about, like I finally did. I also put in a shoe cushion to help with some of the extra room, then thick socks won over. Still have plenty of room through toe bed area but TOO PRETTY, COMFY & TIRED to second guess anymore, size 6 it is!Merry Christmas Folks! Good Luck with your sizing, hope this finally solves some problems??? It was the socks that made all the difference which I kept hearing in almost every review but didn’t hear the bell in head go off… All’s good that ends with most comfortable boot for warm & still is especially fab for cold, wet wool sock weather! I can go snow boarding now! Uh Oh, gotta get lined pants, knit cap, goggles, warmer gloves, down filled vest… Merry Christmas to me…..

I debated on these boots for a long time. I have had the same pair of Merrells for years and have sworn by the brand. I am a chonky hiker who has to have a good boot with comfort and support in mind.I finally bit the bullet threw caution to the wind and bought these based on reviews. I am so glad I did.The positives :- these needed no break in, I wore them on a shorter 5 k for the first time and they were super comfortable, no foot pain, zero blisters, toe nails in tact after the hike. I do wear smart wool or Darn Tough hiking socks to help with blistering. I have a wider foot (but not super wide) and high arch and these fit perfectly. I am a 7.5 but ordered an 8 regular to give room for a thick sock and theyâre perfect.-they are water proof-they are sturdy and can handle walking over rock and tree roots-they are lighter weight then my Merrells-the price point is incredible I paid $89 I believe, they are regular $160 and on sale for $125 at a local sports store-I love the aesthetic look of these (the brown and red)The not so great:My only complaint is in an ideal world they would have more ankle support. As someone who tends to be a bit wobbly I love the support in my Merrells because the boot is a bit higher and provides that support. These do not provide as much, some but not a ton.Overall I love these, I am not hiking mountains so I canât speak to intensive hikes nor can I speak to durability over time, but for this price I am willing to risk it. I have had no foot pain, or back pain after wearing these on hikes which can be an issue without proper foot wear.

Got my boots let me tell you all they are the best ive ever had. I have hammer toes, wide feet with sore bunions and as you all know with sore feet how difficult it is to get good footwear especially winter boots. I am so happy with these they don’t dig in at the top, the toe part is wide and comfy they are waterproof and light. Definately a good bang for the price too. I read someone said to get insoles and that may be true, i have orthodics which i put in. Overall definately good footwear for walking and driving and comfort. Not sure abut warmth yet but with a good pair of socks they should be ok. Walking is what warms feet anyway. If you work on your feet all day they are excellent too. I look forward to going out now again thank you Columbia.

I had to return the 1st pair as a bit too snug. I wear a standard size 9 Columbia Hiking shoe..so was surprised I had to go up to a 9.5 in the same brand.Other that sizing, they don’t disappoint. They look great(I chose the grey/pink), They coordinate perfectly with my Columbia Fleece. Fabulous fit, warm but don’t make your feet sweaty. Good traction and extremely comfortable. Laces and grommets are solid and the pink adds a bit of femininity.
