A cracker jack gym in a box!
I thought long and hard before buying this machine. Read a ton of intervies, watched a lot of videos. So I eventually ordered one and it came in, nearly complete, very minimul assembly…. It took longer to unbox but it really is the size of a suitcase. Ialso ordered the head rest and leg extension package. It was not cheap by any means, but I am pleasently surprised at how well it is built and the tough construction. I am legally blind and mostly homebound so going somewhere to work out is not an option. The fact that ut is so adaptable makes it a perfect pieceof equipment. Now…goiven all that you will not be bulking up like Arnold S,, you won’t get the drfinition of Jet Li…but you will have a wonderfully made, adaptable platform to do basic body work and exercises. At 73 I won;t be toting around the country or neighborhood, but it is portable and easy to store…and the best thing? It’s not going to be an adjunct clothes hanger like that treadmill! Well worth it all the way around…..oh! and I bought it on Amazon because it may be cheaper to buy from the factory…but I could never get an actual person on the phone if I had any issues and with Amazon the return policy was much better,,,but no worries…this thing will outlast me!

LOT OF MACHINE, COMPACT FRAME.
I have not found a thing I don’t love about this product. The Total Flex L (with performance pack) is way more machine than I could ask for, especially for the price. I live in a small apartment, so space is at a premium. Setup was easy and only took a short time once I understood how to install the bands for the leg workout side (more complete instructions would be helpful).The first few days I folded the FLEX up and put it against the wall, but since I was using it more and more, I realized I could leave it setup and just slide it against the wall and it still did not get in the way. It is plenty big for some of us larger people. I’m 5′ 10″ and was at 249 lbs when I started, now down to 209 lbs so far (not all due to working out). But the point being, I would not hesitate to buy it again. A lot of bang for the buck!User in Bremerton, WA.

Great home gym, nonexistent customer service.
This product went beyond my expectations so far. There are exercise dvds and accessories I would like to order but can’t because finding a way to contact their customer service is non existent. I hope I never have to purchase replacement parts. If anyone has a solution, please post it.

there is no 50 exercise web chart in the box NOR is there on on the web site as a PDF!
The machine seems really good and i can follow the videos pretty well yet i really need a written document with pictures explaining each and every exercise. further, if you advertise that such a document exists then freaking at least let your paying customers download a PDF of it!why are you making it so hard to call or text your company support people? if you dont have any support people then just so.if i had that document explaining all the exercises then i would give this product at least 4/5 stars. yet right now i strongly advise any one to consider a different product.

Great quality and outstanding value. I have limited space and want and need to exercise in my small home office. Total Flex offers all of this and more in a very well designed piece of equipment that has me breathing heavy in 30 minutes. I highly recommend this solution to get fit fast. JC

Just what I needed.
Can’t always make it to the gym, tired of paying and not attending. When arrived it had a missing bolt,no problem replacing it. Assembly instructions are a little messy but, went together fairly quick. Was Leary about the tension bands, I get a good work out and in the convenience of my home. Love that folds and stores easily when not in use. Only thing is, wish they would include a pamphlet showing all the exercises. Vendor did send me a PDF with the information. Definitely recommend.

Meh!!
The idea is not bad. While the bench legs seemed pretty strong, the unit still seemed kind of wobbly and cheaply made. The foam for the leg curl extenstion was not very comfortable, and they aren’t secured, so they slide off while in use. For someone my height, when the bench is fully extended, it’s kind of short. It just really didn’t meet my expectations. I did like that it could fold up and be put away, but that’s about all.consider also that though you can get different resistance bands, at some point you’ll be limited to how much you can do. Also, while this unit offers various kinds of exercises, some of them just cannot be comfortably done on the bench.So I ended up returning mine. I’m not gonna say it was complete crap, because it was not. I just couldn’t enjoy mine.

Have regretted getting rid of my Body By Jake for a few years. This unit is far better and provides a full workout in the comfort of your home. The variety of adjustment in the resistance bands meets all my needs and my wifeâs. Simple 2 bolt assembly and it folds down for compact storage. My 6 ft frame easily fits on the seats and back rest. The only thing missing is a chart to show the various setup positions to do a complete set of exercises.
