Great little travel straightener
I travel a lot and I always have to bring a straightener on every trip. As a frizzy, wavy 2B girl who will only wear my hair straight, it is a non-negotiable. But a full sized straightener is very bulky and takes up valuable space in my carry-on. So I just had to try this mini cordless one when I saw it.I was skeptical about this mini straightener at first and didn’t believe it’d produce results I’d like… but I was proven wrong. It definitely doesn’t work as well as my full size straightener, but I can get frizz-free straight hair after about 2-3 passes on 180 C with this mini straightener. (With my full size I just do 1 slow pass per hair strand.) This gets quite hot and warms up fairly quickly. I turn it on before I do my eye makeup, and when I’m done it’s ready to go.It’s small, barely takes up any space, easy to store, has a protective cap, cordless and is rechargeable. (And such a pretty pink!) Battery life is decent. I have thick, medium-long hair and I charge it every other use. Not because I need to, but because I don’t want it to die on me in the middle of a session and I’m running late.

This thing heats up fast and is ultra portable for travel. When it works it works and really that is the main takeaway as it doesn’t work for as wide a variety of hairs as “normal” products. This works perfect for my partner and their hair but does nothing for mine. I am not sure what would be the solution in terms of a redesign but just know that this could easily be a five or one star depending on your hair.

Handy Tool for Taming Unruly Hair on the Go
First off, this little straightener is attractive, easy to hold, and is tidy to store with it’s well-fitting protective top. It’s small and light so it fits anywhere, gym bag, desk, toiletry case, etc. It heats fast and the indicator button clearly shows when it’s on or off. The auto shut-off is appreciated for safety. I have long, very thick wavy hair. The plastic bristles do a pretty good job of reaching through my hair to straighten it. I wish the bristles themselves became a little hotter. But, all in all, a great little travel straightener.

Heats up quickly, but didn’t work well on my hair.
I was surprised how quickly this straightening brush heated up. I thought it would work great because of how hot it got, but it didn’t. The plastic bristles are pretty short and are placed pretty far apart which means it doesn’t grip my hair at all. Even if I hold my hair down onto the brush it just doesn’t seem to work. One thing it does do is make my hair super static-y and I have a ton of flyaways all over after using it. I think the biggest issue is it seems the backside of the straightener is what gets the hottest. When I touch the backside of it it is super hot, but when I touch where the bristles are it just doesn’t seem very hot. I wish that not only was the heat directed more towards the bristles, but that the bristles were a bit longer and closer together so it would grip my hair better.All in all, this cordless hair straightener would have been awesome if it had worked. The size of it, how quickly it heats up, it is really well made…. everything about it is really nice, but it just doesn’t work on my hair.

Easy to use compact straightening brush
Fairly lightweight and convenient straightening brush for traveling or on-the-go touch ups. Heats up decently quick and has adjustable temperature settings. Charges quick too which makes this a great cordless option. The one picture on the listing showing it being held isn’t very accurate as it makes it look like this is a full-sized appliance. It is not. It is more compact but not so small that it doesn’t work well.
