An Outstanding Choice of DDR4 RAM.
When it comes to DDR4 RAM, dollar for dollar, this RAM upgrade is perhaps among the best. Sure, it’s nearly $80.00 for two 8 GB sticks of DDR4 RAM, but you get what you pay for here. It’s less expensive than some similar RAM while providing plenty of free random memory to your computer to run multiple applications at once or in the background. It does its job well and fast.**I have seen a lot of confusion regarding RAM usage online, so let me clarify this here:You can use all 4 RAM slots with this, too, which could stack you up to 32 GB of RAM; more than you would ever need.You can use two DDR4 RAM slots in two same-colored channels on the motherboard, and pair it with another pair of DDR4 RAM sticks, whether they’re 4 or 8 GB sticks, and they will work just fine together. Just make sure they run at comparable Megahertz (Mhz) levels, and that the stick pairs (for this paired Ripjaw type of RAM, and the other pair of RAM sticks) are in channel 1 and 3, and 2 and 4, respectively. If you use them any other way, you will cause the RAM to not run as fast or efficiently as it could.End my little rant/lesson about RAM.tl;dr:This RAM is some of the DDR4 money can by, both for the price you pay and speed it provides your computer. I personally advise using it.

Generally speaking, the Corsair Vengeance LPX line of RAM is a solid price-to-performance value. Their motherboard and processor compatibility is wide ranging, though I seem to get faulty modules more often than I do with other brands. I build dozens of systems every year, from basic office workstations to high-end gaming machines. Over the course of 2019, I used Vengeance LPX memory in nine different systems, on three different motherboards, with three different AMD processors. I went through a grand total of 26 modules, rated at four different frequencies. Of the 26, two caused stability issues and were confirmed faulty by MemTest86. Here’s the breakdown:6 x 8gb DDR4-3200 – 1 bad4 x 16gb DDR4-2666 – 1 bad4 x 16gb DDR4-240012 x 8gb DDR4-2133The base-clocked 2133MHz chips were all fine, but faulty chips were more common at higher speed ratings, with errors cropping up in the 2666MHz and 3200MHz ranges.DDR4-2133 = 100% OKDDR4-2400+ = 86% OK8GB Modules = 94% OK16GB Modules = 87% OKAll Modules = 92% OKI rounded the percentages to the nearest whole number. Taken overall, just under 8% of the 26 RAM chips were faulty. This is perhaps the highest occurrence of any model or brand I’ve used, though I grant that 26 sticks is a fairly small sample size – perhaps I was just unlucky. While Amazon makes the exchange process a breeze, it can sometimes be a hassle to wait a couple days for the replacements to arrive. This should probably be considered when making a purchase decision.This year, my experience with the Vengeance LPX RAM was limited to AMD Ryzen 2000 and 3000 series processors and their respective motherboards. I used boards made by ASRock (B450M Pro4), Gigabyte (X570 UD), and Asus (X470-Pro). Once I had replaced the bad memory, all of these systems were stable, dependable, and speedy. If it weren’t for the hiccups, I would absolutely recommend this product. In fact, I still do – with the caveat that faulty RAM should be planned for and possibly expected.

Rock solid performer for everyday desktop multitasking
I’ve used this memory at 75% capacity in Windows 10 Pro with 10 video files playing, streaming YouTube live and copying files. I rarely see an app crashing under load with this memory, a fast ssd drive and a video card with ample memory. Can’t go wrong for the price.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem 16GB RAM-Kit mit 3200MHz Taktfrequenz, um mein System zu upgraden, und dieser Speicher hat genau in mein Setup gepasst.Der Einbau war unkompliziert und dank der flachen Bauweise der Module gibt es keine Probleme mit der Kompatibilität zu gröÃeren CPU-Kühlern. Nach dem Einbau hat alles sofort funktioniert: Das XMP-Profil wurde ohne Probleme erkannt, und die 3200MHz laufen stabil. Keine Abstürze, keine Fehlermeldungen â einfach einstecken und loslegen!Die Performance ist spürbar besser, besonders bei Multitasking und Spielen.
