Mostly as advertised
Easy to use sitting. Its quite sturdy for standing use. However standing on it does require some decent abdominal muscles, as it has no handles. It is quiet and doesn’t bother my husband when I use it. I do have some difficulty storing it when I’m not using it, it kinda gets in the way in my small place. Four stars because it advertises it comes completely put together but it is not. You do have to put it together but it includes the tool.

I waited much longer than I should have to get one of these. I kept debating if I’d actually use it or if I’d use it briefly, then store it away like other exercise equipment.Yes, as I write up my reviews, I’m not using it, because my lap is my desk until I get my workspace settled (I recently moved), but if I’m just sitting watching TV, I use this thing like a mad person.I am neurodivergent, but being late-diagnosed my body stims were relegated to restless leg syndrome and a lot of foot movement, which can make me antsy if I’m not stimming, like curling my toes, resting my feet in funky positions, etc. When I’m tired and have sat too long that becomes compulsory, involuntary movements, commonly called Restless Leg Syndrome. This machine has made a marked difference in my ability sit quietly and watch TV without fidgeting, looking at my phone, snacking until I’m over stuffed, and any other stim I was doing to regulate my neurodivergent system.When I use this when I’m just sitting, I can accrue somewhere between 300 and 500 calories in a day, about 100/hour, depending on pace and resistance setting. I imagine once I have this parked under my workdesk, I will accrue more than that, and may start losing weight again.It is heavy, but portable. The strut that has the digital read-out is actually a handle, and is strong enough you can one-hand this without threat to the structure of the read-out. I’d really rather the read-out not be on the handle, but I was raised to always be mindful of my strength and the structure of things and how those things interact.Assembling it isn’t terribly difficult. It comes pretty much together, you have to put the pedals on and the base, but those are all easy to put on. There’s no technical parts you have to fidget with. Assemble it on a soft place, though. It’s heavy and can mark a floor up even if you are careful.I really wish I had gotten this sooner, but now that I have it, I am glad I do, and I think the benefits of these under-desk cardio machines really should be explored more, especially now with people preferring working from home or hybrid work where applicable.

NOT ready to use
Pedals, base and stand all need put together. Arthritis makes that difficult. Very well made and heavy. Need good balance if using it when standing.

I like the unit but it does require assembly
The unit works well but it does require some assembly. It is quiet. I am able to use it while on video calls

Not quite what I was looking for
It works well for under the desk but you cannot stand on it without holding on to something. The peddles are inclined too much. But I do enjoy it with watching tv or movies or working.
