Quite, Smooth, Stable, Durable
Overall, a great product and seems like it will last a long time.Pros:-Adjustable Tension — Doesn’t seem like it’s doing a lot when you ramp it up, but ramping it down seems more noticeable. The resistance change between 7 and 8 (max level) is prominent. It’s not going to give you the workout of a full upright elliptical, but for under-desk or couch usage while watching TV or gaming, it works very well.-Stability — The pedals are steep enough that using it while standing isn’t really reasonable, but are steep enough that using it sitting down at a desk or couch is comfortable. The pedals don’t wobble and the wheels under the heels don’t drift.-Weight — At 35lbs, it’s heavy enough to stay put for the most part (see Cons) or use for arm curls, but light enough that it can be moved from room to room without any trouble.-Tracking — It doesn’t pair with other devices or any of that fancy stuff, but the display on the unit tracks stride count, time used, calories burned, distance traveled, and RPM, as well as a scan function that toggles between them all. It’s nice to be able to rest it at the beginning of the day and work toward hitting 10k strides.-Feeling the Difference — Using it on max resistance for a half hour to an hour, you’ll feel it in your legs, get a bit warm, and sweat a little, so it does it’s job without giving you sore, achey legs the next day.Cons:-The grippy foam pads on the front of the unit peeled off after a couple of days of use simply from resisting sliding on the ground during use. Now that they’re gone, the unit drifts forward while in use ever so slightly, but it’s not enough to deduct points. Just wish they used something a little more permanent to add grip to the front. I might try some hockey grip tape around that area to see if it’ll do the job.-If the resistance went up to 10, or the maximum resistance level were a little higher, I wouldn’t mind, but as it is, I definitely get warm and a little bit of a sweat from using it for a while on 7 or 8.I seriously questioned whether it was worth paying twice as much as the next most popular under-desk elliptical, but having had it for a couple of weeks now, I have no regrets. It’s really handy and portable, does what it says, and is virtually silent when operating. This is the elliptical you want.

I LOVE This Thing!
Because of health issues, and, let’s face it, just plain laziness, I have not exercised much at all in several years. Hip and back problems have not allowed me to do any kind of exercise that involves being on my feet for very long. After a stern warning from my doctor this fall about my excessive weight, I decided to check out non-weight bearing exercises. Then I saw the Cubii commercial on tv. This looked like something I could do – just sit (I’m good at that) and pedal. This machine is a bit pricey and I was afraid like the treadmill and exercise bike that I had owned in the past, that I might not get my money’s worth out of it. But I was wrong. This was very easy to assemble. Took only a few minutes. I placed it under my desk at my home office where I work several hours a day. I used a kitchen rug under it more to protect the vinyl floor than to keep the Cubii from moving. This thing is heavy and isn’t going anywhere. I like the ‘pads’ that are included that go under the wheels of office chairs which keeps the chair from rolling around while pedaling. Once I got the positioning of the chair right, I was off and running – or pedaling as the case may be. I was amazed at how very quiet this is.I started on level 1, did that for two weeks, then moved to level 2 for two weeks, and so on. Whenever I felt the tension was starting to get easy I moved up a level. I’m now at level 5. I really feel a difference in the strength and firmness of my muscles in my legs, butt and hips. And if I was sitting up straight (I’m a sloucher) I’d probably feel it in my abs too. And the best thing for me, I have absolutely no back or hip pain from using the Cubii. I find using it not only effortless but mindless which means I’m pedaling without even thinking about it. So on a busy computer day I might get as many as 6,000 steps in (about an hour total). For those that have reviewed this and said it’s not really exercise, I disagree. This may not be aerobic exercise (unless you’re pedaling really fast) but it’s not meant to be. It’s meant for people like me who need to ease back into exercise and strengthen muscles we haven’t used in a long time so we can get up and do other things. And I definitely know it’s working my muscles and burning some calories. Since I started using my Cubii about two and a half months ago, I’ve lost 15 lbs. Disclaimer… I’ve also started eating better at the same time which also helped some. When I don’t have to concentrate on my work, I have some 1 lb hand weights that I use while pedaling to get some upper body movement and exercise. And at some point, I’m going to try some of the online videos for Cubii exercises that are more aerobic.Overall, I LOVE my Cubii. I have used it every single day since I set it up and I know I will continue to use it every day because its so easy and it makes me feel good about life again.

Works great
It came fast, was easy to assemble, is very quiet and quite sturdy. And it’s true, the screwdriver it comes with is terrific.

Extremely sturdy and very well-made
I’m very pleased with the purchase. I’ve had other systems from different companies that have not worked nearly as as well as this one extremely easy to put together and set up lightweight and extremely quiet as advertised. I’ll let my wife try it later today and if she likes it. I’ll get one for her too. I’ve already recommended it to my siblings as well and I’ve only had it for 30 minutes.

I decided to return an Under Desk Bike Pedal Exerciser mainly because it was defective and went for this Cubii JR1. Maybe the experience seemed even better because of what I experienced with the previous bike. Anyway, everything was perfect, even the polystyrene protection. The screwdriver was by far the best I’ve ever seen as part of an assembly kit. The assembly took 5 minutes. The unit is heavy and stable enough so that there is no undesired movement while pedaling. I’ve been pedaling for one hour already while sitting at my desk. The only annoying thing is the Apple watch which doesn’t detect my exercise and keeps asking me if I was done. Which leads me to my only regret: I should have bought the Bluetooth version to connect the unit to an app and sync exercise data with my phone and watch.

This is a great product. It is very stable and easy to use. I watch netflix while doing it. I am 80 with heart problems. I feel it is helping me get stronger in the legs and therefore more stable. Love it! My neighbor is going to get one for her 91 yr old husband. It is somewhat heavy but that helps with the stability. It has adjustable speeds.
