I received this automatic curling iron for two weeks and then used it several times. And wow, it’s super easy to use! I never really used a hair iron before. That hot, exposed barrel I was always so afraid would burn my face or neck. This one is entirely safe. After using it for a while, the outside of the curler wasnât too hot and quite safe to touch. By the way, I used the black rod. What I loved the most was how smoothly it operated. There were no tangles, no pulling, or pain at all! It just lifts the curler, inserts hair, and rolls it effortlessly. The curls are the same out, looking so bouncy and perfect. If you belong to the category of people like me who donât have great control over curling irons, you must try this one!

Rotating curler which will take practice to master
Out of the box, this curler was attractive and seemed to be stylish in design. Coming with a lot of extras like a heat resistant glove, duckbill hair clips, and miniature butterfly style claw clips, the set seems to offer a lot of things to make the curling process easier. If only the engagement of the curler itself was that easy. It has a rotating power cord and auto shut-off (a great safety feature for any heated product). The listing states that there is no skill needed to operate this device. I disagree. While it was possible to achieve a nice curl, I wouldn’t say that it was a simple process. The device operates as advertised, and rotates both clockwise and counter clockwise (controlled with buttons). The hair wraps around the wand and an audible beeping indicates when the curl is complete. The amount of heat chosen determines the amount of curl delivered. While I was a bit afraid that the hair might be pulled into the tool, that was an unfounded fear. The hair wrapped around the wand with no tension or pulling. Yet, the curl was achieved. My only hesitancy in raving about this device is that, until there has been extensive practice in using this curler, the time required to use this item is significant. I think I could curl the hair faster with a traditional curler. Having said that, I believe that once a greater comfort level is reached in the use of this product, the time it takes to curl the hair will lessen considerably. Overall, this is a solidly performing tool. 4 stars.

This is great product for those who want no hassle automatic curling iron. It comes with all the accessories that you might need and All accessories are of high quality. Mini clips and regular hair looks durable. Iron heats up in no time. Takes up around 20 secs to heat up to 395 and it’s ready for curling. It is also relatively light weight and yet looks durable.

Easy to use
Once you figure out which arrow button goes which way, itâs so easy to use!! The curls are tight but once you comb it through with a wide tooth comb, your hair would look so nice! I have waist length hair and I was still able to curl my hair very close to my head. It comes with so much accessories for the price as well. I think this is perfect for a beginner. There is no way to get burned from this unless you use the metal attachment.

Easy curler; slightly nervous when using

As long as my hair was combed out (no tangles) and the section was small enough, I had no concerns that my hair would tangle when using. However, once I started not being as careful with the tangles, the hair didn’t pull into the unit as smoothly and there were a couple of times where not all of the section got pulled into the unit, so it slightly tangled a bit and was hard to pull out of the curler. It heated up very fast. The first few curls didn’t set as well as the ones that were curled after about 7 tries. I guess the curler got a bit hotter as the time went on.Overall, it was a quick way to curl my hair. It gave me a very casual look (not perfect, but close). The more I play with it, I’m sure I’ll get more confident and the more precise the curls will be.

I bought this as a gift but wanted to make sure that it worked like it says before wrapping it.I tried on a section of my hair and it is simple and easy to use although my hair is a little too short, it would work much better on longer hair.Love the way it automatically twists your hair around the heated rod.

Made in China.I was curious about these self-spinning curling irons, but a little nervous about inserting my hair into anything that spins. I decided to try it out though, and it’s not bad! The twisting function is very gentle and, after getting used to how it works, I don’t feel worried anymore about it trapping my hair. It’s much easier and faster than the curling irons with clamps that you have to roll up to your face yourself, or especially the ones with no clamps that you have to roll your hair with your fingers. No chance of burning yourself with this spinning curling iron. You can choose your heat setting and direction of spin, then let it do all the work with each chunk of hair. The curls turn out just fine.
